Sharp pain in vagina

Hey just really looking for some help, I have a really uncomfortable pain in my vagina, almost as if something sharp is stuck in there in a specific place. I’m 27 weeks, it’s 6am because i have been awake the last few hours with it 😂

I had a swab test done a few days ago when it first started which come back normal. Has anyone else experienced this type of pain? Is it normal?

@dorothygaleandtoto hahaha I had thought with the pain being constant rather than sharp and gone it might be something different and was panicking 😂

Amazing and exhausting 😂

Hi @ChristmasBabi I'm 27 weeks too and have been getting lightening crotch, just like you describe. Add it to the list of things you wake up each morning thinking "oh right, that's happening to me now is it?!" Bodies are amazing, but very weird!

@ChristmasBabi

I'm not qualified to answer your question. I'm extremely respectful of and enchanted by female bodies and you're very beautiful, magical creatures . . . . . but you can sometimes be very strange.

My only experience of "arse javelin" is what I've read on here and being nugded, pushed and shaken awake very early one morning by an ex girlfriend to be told it felt like somebody had shoved a javelin up her bum. I obviously offered to have a look and asked what assistance I could offer to help her but this was deemed to be unhelpful. My line of questioning regarding what she actually got up to in PE lessons at school didn't go down too well either.

I love a good "fanny daggers" thread . . . . .although I do sympathise with those of you experiencing it.

How long will it be until somebody brings up the dreaded "arse javelin"?

Suppose I just did.

Totally normal, it’s called lightning crotch I believe. Had it in all of my pregnancies.

Thank you everyone ❤️

Agree - vagina daggers are normal (doesn't ease the pain though, sorry Op!)

Yep, it’s the old dagger in the vagina pain. It’s just everything stretching.
Obviously if you get any bleeding give them a call, but I’m sure you’ll be fine.
