Yes, if you have one of these: not interested in:

  • sports
  • gaming or tech
  • fitness
  • foodie gifts
  • alcohol
  • tools (he has enough)
  • brands/clothes
  • metrosexual stuff

I feel your pain.
Gift ideas?

@ghislaine where are you looking at hedgehog shelters? My dh would love that!,

I recently discovered this website which has lots of wildlife related products.

www.selections.com/birds-and-wildlife/hedgehog-houses-shelters

I ordered the solitary beehive and a house plant mister. They came very quickly and were well packed.

Do you have Spotify ? It’s possible to download QR codes for different songs- make him a ‘January ‘ advent calendar with a code for a song each day that will either bring back happy memories or make him laugh or are poignant , personalise with a little message each day too …

I ordered my DH a mini hand axe throwing set and wooden target from Amazon. A new kindle and a voucher as his job involves a huge amount of sitting around every day. Beatles socks. Wetlands trust membership ( even if he doesn't go, the £8 a month still helps the running costs and the place is important to us). A new tea pot and I donated a tea bush so he regularly gets some very nice single bush (?!) Darjeeling tea. I know this will 100% be his fave present.

@lockitdown

He hates being indoors, loves being outside BUT isnt a camping, hiking sort of guy. More fixing fences and moving fallen trees ind of guy.

Buy something that he can plant in the garden,buy some paint for him to paint the fence etc.Basically buy him something that will keep him busy outdoorsGrin

@Blankiefan

A firepit? Opens the door to lots of accessory gifts campfire popcorn maker, marshmallows and toasting forks, fire blanket, etc)

I'd second a pizza oven. I got DH an Ooni one two years ago. Was his favourite ever present. Again, lots of complimentary gifts (pizza peel, recipe books, thermometer, etc, etc)

I got DH gig tickets this year.

He built a fire pit but this made me think dutch oven..thing is I would end up being the one doing the cooking

@WouldBeGood

Blowjob? Outdoors by a freshly fixed fence for maximum satisfaction? 😃

Jokes aside, i think this would be his dream. Dont think the neighbours would appreciate it though :)

I have one like this, too. And if there is something he fancies, he usually just gets it for himself rather than ask me for it Hmm

One year I gave him a badger shaving brush, stand, and boxed soap set. He was an aerosol shaving gel bloke before, and was bewildered by this gift, but was soon addicted. Apparently it feels very nice against the skin.

I bought my husband a PerfectDraft beer machine last year...it has been one of the most successful gifts he's had as he's still using it regularly, he is usually extremely difficult to buy for!

If anyone thinking of buying one I have a referral code which gets you 15% off any* PerfectDraft machines or bundleses_. The code is PDR2-I5R4-P0YY-98OK If code is used I get £35 of beer tokens.
Thanks in advance if anyone uses it Smile

I don't say this lightly, but LTBs... so many of these DHs sound terribly hard work and difficult to buy for.
I'm sure there's a backstory and they're difficult and awkward in MANY OTHER WAYS.

Free yourselves ladies! *

  • quite obviously a joke! I have one myself, and 2 adult DSs who are equally hard to buy for Grin I enjoy gift giving and they make it very tricky!

Yep, the d*ckhead is off the B&Q THIS MORNING to get a bloody chainsaw. I did say it was a bit silly and he should put it on his xmas list but nope, he said he would have to get the one he wants and it would be too much.

Try United Oddsocks. You always need socks, and these are amusing. Dh has enjoyed them, but I've gone through their whole pattern repertoire over the years, so I'm not buying them any more. Dh will just have to cope with boring socks for a few years Grin

We have decided not to bother this year for Christmas, both of us buy what we want/need. Decided to go away for a few days instead.
