Hi I'm an Arbonne consultant.

I work full time and do Arbonne in my spare time. There's a lot of opinions on 'MLM' and Social networking companies. Thought it would be fun to answer any questions people have about it ! Complete honesty !

Do you keep track of all outgoing and incoming and have you made a profit

Do you ever feel a bit embarrassed that you are pedalling a cleverly crafted lie?

How did you get sucked into this Grin

No, you seem a lot happier than most sellers. Do you think that's area? Size of social circle? Less saturated market?

Do you ever think back to the shit you tell people to make a sale/get them in to your downline and cringe, hun?

How many of your friends have stopped talking to you or actively avoid you since you started selling it?

Come on @Gottobefree. You can't start an AMA and then not answer a single question.

@greenwaterbottle Hi thanks for the question ! Yes I do keep track, they provide us with weekly payslips as well so it's easy to keep track of that anyway. In terms of my spending it comes out of my bank account only when I order products for myself (usually facial cream and nutrition)

Too be honest yes I do sometimes haha ! There's such a stigma about things and I don't like to 'confront' people or try to change their minds. Thats not the reason I do it.

@Namechangeforthiscancershit
Hahaha I will admit I am 26 so pretty much every 'millenial' has a side social networking business as I grew up with insta and facebook.
A girl my age reached out to me on instagram eye roll I was in a stage of my life where I just wanted to say yes to every opportunity, I had recently got a new job and set my sight of travelling.
I'm happy to say I'm actually best friends with this girl now and we just got back from Reading festival together.
I saw it as a extra income to pay for my London travel costs and nothing more, I do love it but I also don't put too much pressure on myself like some people do ! x

From myself no ... I can't bullshit. But the company do a lot of training and I cringeeee at some of the things they say. Usually with clients I ask what areas they want advice on; health, skin care or beauty and I go from there and recommend the best products for them. If they buy them then great, sometimes I've even recommended other company products that I've found amazing Grin But I really shouldn't !

What’s the minimum amount you have to purchase from Arbonne each month to remain an active consultant?

Have you ever ended up buying stuff that you didn’t actually have an order for, using your own money, to remain ‘active’?

@LadyFarnborough
Mmmmmm so this depends on sale and deals the company do as well. It's not a lot, it just about covers my communter costs for travel to my full time job. It also doesn't pay my rent. But I personally wouldn't stop working full time as I'm pursuing my own career with my BA (Hons).

Thankfully I haven't lost ANY friends. I pitty people who have lost friends through this. I haven't pushed any of my friends or family to 'join' but I have answered any of their questions. Some have decided to purchase products through me just purely from the results they've seen in myself. but no I never put pressure and can't see how me selling products can destroy a friendship.
If it does then it wasn't a friendship to start with !

@LadyFarnborough

So some MLM you get a cash thingy for joining up people. In arbonne you don't get that. To this day I haven't recruited anyone, purely because I already make money from my normal clients.

@acatcalledjohn
Oooooooo harsh haha ! I'm proud of myself for working fulltime while doing a full time degree.
I'm proud that I have overcome my disability from my childhood.
And I'm proud of myself for growing as a person and trying to better my future as a young woman living in London.

Honestly if I could scam people it would be a lot easier ! the company has been around for 40years and if people want to pay more for better quality products it's down to them. Just because it's stocked in your local boots doesn't ensure quality !

@Mackerz
I get why you feel that ! It started in America yearsss ago and it was mainly directed at stay at home mums... so yes I get those vibes as well.

However im 26 (no kids) and a lot of 18-30year olds are doing it now. Mainly because of the low wages and higher cost of living people are doing a full time job with a MLM on the side.

@LemonAddict

So my friend does the Body Shop at home and has to make a minimum of £150 a month to stay active.

I don't have to spend or meet a monthly requirement at Arbonne thank god All I have to do is renew my membership after a year which is £25.

A lot of clients sign up as consultants just to get the discount but they don't have to sell and meet targets.

I am strict on myself and I don't purchase anything I don't want to use! But I can see how with other MLM they have a target and people get themselves into debt to meet the targets. Horrible
