Morning you You won't believe how effective it is having an online diet diary - makes you feel guilty if you do anything wrong because you don't want to come back and post it!!

It's really done the trick to keep me going - I'll keep an eye out for you too to make sure you don't give up!!

Ooh - forgot to say you will feel so much better when you get on thyroxin. My mum has taken it everyday for about the last 13 years and has to take it for the rest of her life but it makes such a difference

Also if you're interested there's a website i'm joining this week where you type in your details, add what foods you have eaten from their database and also what exercise you've done and it automatically works out all your calories for the day and your allowance - is also a good thing to keep you going

morning thank you i have been on the thyroxin for a couple of years but it doesnt stablise am on 300mg now! but i thought im not just going to wake up x stone lighter without giving this a final kick up the arse so here i go! it was so down hearting when i was on quite a low calorie diet plus gym 3 or four times a week and weight would stay the same!! so this time no calorie counting...im not going to say how many stones i am but i am 4 3/4 pounds over the stone im on if that makes sense so my first goal is to get under that stone...

yep makes sense - I've been stuck on 13st 2/3/4/5/6 for bloody ages now and my first goal is to see a 12 on the scales lol!!

THe low calorie thing doesn't make much sense to me as you can still eat crap - just less of it!! This week i'm trying out the cereal for breakfast and lunch diet

Well done you!!!!!!!!!! That's fantastic!
That should give you enough incentive to keep it going - at that rate it won't take you long

Im new on mumsnet but am finding it really hard to cope with, im only 18 and b4 i had dd i was a size 8/10 i used to go out clubbing every night and enjoyed my teenage years. Iv stopped the clubbing/drinking/smoking now as dd is too important to me but whats getting me down is iv gone from 9 stone 3 to 13 stone....i couldnt believe it im up to a size 16/18 and its really getting me down, i know il probably never get back down to aq size 8 but i cant even buy the clothes i long for in my size they just dont make them....over the past few days iv just stopped eating coz dieting hasnt worked....i know dd is only 6 months old but it feels like iv been huge forever and i cant stand it!!!! any suggestions to help would be gladly welcome!
