Anyone thinking about starting again tomorrow?

Hi

I have been putting on weight for ages and after starting again so many times I've pretty much lost the belief that I can do it. I'm trying to motivate myself today and was wondering if anyone else is looking to start again tomorrow? I'm hoping it might give me a kick! If you are about to start again it would be great to know -

Me, stressful job change has meant self medication with toast and cake. Also can't exercise due to time and injury

Am 5 8
Prob 11 4 ish not brave enough to stand on scales

Going to just eat less

Me. I am 165cm and 15.5 stone. I have never been this heavy so i am desperate to loose weight with clean eating. No sugar no processed foods.

Yea please. I always start on a Monday band have given up by lunch.

Not sure what I'll do. Just try to eat fewer calories and smaller portions. I'm goig to try to do a little exercise as well.

5ft 2 12 stone 12 😫! To be fair it’s better than the 14 stone 9 it was before Xmas.
Hitting the gym again and not eating any crap! I also find eating carbs at breakfast, less carbs at lunch and no carbs at dinner helps me. I can’t cut out carbs completely. I’m far too weak for that.

Yes! Thank you for posting, I really need a group of buddies for motivation and accountability, in RL am a LP and at for comfort / through boredom on my own in the eve.

5 ft 3 and I think about 10 st 12lbs, down from 11 st 4 lbs after Xmas.

Not sure what the answer is but for me drinking loads of water and cutting out junk/sugar would be a great start, easier said than done...

Meeee. Eaten a whole packet of biscuits this afternoonBlush. Going to bin all the junk tonight and start fresh tomorrow. 6 weeks after having baby and hardly lost anything.

I am gradually losing in fits and starts and just went through a "who cares?" period. Suddenly feeling motivated again. My goal is to get under 10 stone this month (140lb) currently 146.6lb as of this morning so just under 10.5 stone. Haven't been under 10 stone for at least 12 years.

Started at 169lb last Jan 2017 (just over 12 stone).

H: 5' 5"
CW: 146.6lb
Plan: Low carb, high protein and veg. Less processed foods. Lots of water.

Started SW (although not going to classes) three weeks ago.

Start weight :13 st 2
Current weight : 12 st 7
Height : 5ft 2

initially aiming for 10% loss, so 11 st 9 and then I'll pick another goal.

I'd like to join you too.

5'6", 12 stone 9. Would like to get down to 11 stone by the summer.

I'm doing a combination of calorie counting (1550 per day), but trying to keep the carbs down too.

The plan is to start Couch to 5K again this week, with 2 Pilates sessions and doing my 10K steps per day.

I’d like to join in please.
I’ve steadily gained weight since DS2 was born - he was 9 last week!!Blush
I keep trying diets but not getting very far and giving up.
I feel at a bit of a loss and not sure what method to use. Hoping for a bit of inspiration.
Height 5’ 1.5”

Google image “inspirational diet quotes” and scroll through the image results. Some of them make sense and get into your head.

I’m 7 weeks into new healthy living. Lost 1stone 7 so far. I am using MFP and eating slimming world recipies- such as Carbonara, lasagne etc.

Been dieting 2 years and lost 8 stone but getting bored around 16 stone 10 now. Need to sort myself out today so back to dieting. I wont be able to eat like this soon as having a gastric bypass :(

How is everyone going? I made it through lunch. Which is an achievement for mem need to get through dinner now lol. I'm trying to take it one day at a time.

@carakenjac I think what ever works for you. If you're drinking a diet drink instead o full fat coke then it's better. But I thinkwater is always the healthiest option. But whatever gets you through.

How is everyone else doing?

I'm going round to a friends for dinner later but shouldn't be too unhealthy. Still breastfeeding so not being too strict...yet! Had toast for breakfast and will have fruit and oatcakes with cheese for lunch. I had a c section so can't run for a while but going to try to walk everyday.

I am already fantasising about biscuits and chocolateBlush. It's disgusting how much of both I've been eating. Going to make a cup of tea every time I want to snack and have that instead.

Weight: 14st 8lb
Goal: To lose around 6/6.5 stone - need to get back into a reasonable weight :( further goal: Be successful in TTC by my 30th Birthday (just before xmas)

Last week I rejoined the gym after 6 months away and was really pleased that I did. I enjoy hiit classes and kettlebells - it’s my motivation that goes astray
