Perfect, just the right size for a 16 week old to hold, and dissolves nicely in the mouth. They're cheese flavour aren't they, must be a good source of calcium then, and all that cereally goodness!

Wonderful stuff!

In moderation I would think ok, but a very high salt and preserative content, love'em myself !!

A wonderful source of nutrition! Obviously a refined delicacy in some parts, the baby's parents have good taste!

dd had some after her swimming lesson last week, given by well meaning fellow parent. She actually only had one or two from her packet but threw up on the way home (what a waste of an Innocent Smoothie and raisins !)- coincidence ?

Ah, but were they Wotsits though? Organix do carrot flavoured things that look identical to Wotsits.

they were wotsits. the mum and her older child were also eating a pack for breakfast (well again i am assuming, it may have been a post-breakfast snack)

well you may not believe me, but yes, my HV suggested the very same thing. not as a source of nutrition Wink but to help a baby who is struggling with solids. have to say it worked a treat for us. ds still loves wotsits though - can hear a bag being opened at a hundred paces.

think ds was more like 7 or 8, but yes. we're not talking whole packets here - just one or two for them to experience the texture, squiching food with tongue, etc.

It's my yellow wotsit face after being crammed with them obviously :)

indeed misdee (a freudian slip in your post perhaps...?)

was it definately wotsits? I've had comments about my DS eating wotsits but they are infact Organix carrot Sticks and aren't full of rubbish. They're giant though so I'm not sure they could be mistaken.

ah tinker - we were thinking on the same lines... I must read full posts before I respond!

DS loves them and is one of the few things he will eat so I give them to him - well not wotsits - he has the more classy refined M&S version - he loves the way they smell more like his father's feet!!!

fortunately after a brief(ish) phase of loving them, my 2 have decided the colour is too orange and that they smell.

dh and I still like the occasional bag though!

Misdee, seriously at 5 months?? Wow, all that msg/salt
