there are no historical places left anymore. everything is very touristified, and costs a packet to stare at roped off sections of old stuff.
im going with my parents as well as kids, so needs to be something that 67 year old dad, and unfit 61 yr old mom can do as well as 3 yr old dd.
lazing on the beach to boring.
everything advertised on the cornwall tourist site i can do staying at home and not paying for transprotation.
am i being too cynical? please give me some ideas.
tia

My favourite holidays are away from a computer and close to the sea with warm (not hot) sunny weather so you can walk along the beach coast easily without feeling overheated and irritable. Add a pile of good books and some good company and that's it really.

DD is 9yo and still happy to do this kind of holiday. We don't really do excursions or costly activities on holiday.
