Christmas ideas for kids who don't play with toys much?

Need ideas for Christmas for my two DDs, 3 and 6. They don't play with their Happyland stuff or their wooden farm set or their lego/duplo or fairy castle.... They mostly play imaginative games ie schools or choirs or mummies and babies with teddies/dolls/each other or they do crafty things or fight.... Have been looking at Playmobil but concerned that they won't play with that either and that I should just get them a big cardboard box with balloons! Any ideas most welcome!

If they like imaginative play how about dressing up costumes? Or doctors set? School set?

Got lots of outdoor stuff, they do spend lots of time on bikes. Was thinking indoor stuff. Hama beads good one, can always get them more craft stuff!

My two never played with toys either. The most successful presents when they were younger were, a camouflage net (Great Little Trading co, I think), for making dens with, scooters (had their first ones pre-school and are still 'scooting' at 12 and 13!). Craft stuff, books board games for us all to play and dressing up costumes.

What a brill idea a camouflage net is! They would love that. It is the big woo present that I am stuck on!

Looking at GLTC now, had forgotten about them. Quite a few good ideas incl the den kit and the primary science kit.

What about a kitchen and play food?

You could get a little shopping trolley or basket and a till.

Home bargains often gets the dreamtown pop up stuff in, we got ds the garage tent thingy with petrol pumps a while ago

They don't play with their wee kitchen much. They do have tea parties though. Problem probably is that they don't really need anything! Will check out home bargains. Thanks all. x

Our most successful pressie recently was a giant stuffed animal. Weird but true. And cheap from tesco direct as well. I concede my dc may well be a bit odd though.

What about a post office set? Lots about on smyths toys, amazon etc. We got a lovely old fashioned style one from a little independent toy store, but can't find a link online unfortunately.
