Getting it off at last

Looking for some people to give me there experience of tummy tuck surgery.
I have decided to go private and have this done as I have been refused by NHS. I cant bear to have all the loose skin on my stomach after losing weight. Its took 10 years to decide but this is what I want.
So has anyone had it done what can I expect. The surgeon talked about two ways the one for the best result included a vertical scar as well as bikini. I have opted just for bikini scarring as he said he can get a good result this way as well.
I am conserned about the pain and recovery afterwards.
