Pregnant and never usually a fan of cakey stuff but fancied something with cream so sent DH to get said item.

DH comes back, pops to the loo and I take cakes in. One for me, one for DH. Turn my backs for a second and the goady fucker has eaten ALL of the topping!

I was a little teary. Have come upstairs to sulk. Cat just looked as if to say "you sad cow" Sad

The worst of it? He keeps licking his chops!

Awww man, what a shitty thing to do! You have my sympathies, PuffinCat isn't smart enough to steal things. Bad genecat! he does look cute though

Puff sadly my Jakey isn't very cute at all, he's really small for a fully grown cat too!

He really is the cat that got the cream....

They are absolute fuckers, aren't they?

Wails from the lounge, "The cat's licked my toast!", are regular chez WTF. I am constantly on the lookout for feline ambush. Feck knows what we'll do at Christmas. GFcat was always greedy but now has feline dementia so really doesn't care!

Does anyone else get twitchy at other people's houses? They leave salmon and butter unattended FGS Shock Ok, they don't actually have cats or dogs, but..... Grin

wtt argh I don't understand how people can

Or leave samon unattended near me, I'm probably worse than the cat Grin

DH went out for fresh supplies of course? Wink

Three cats previous brought home a Dover sole. I lived in Wimbledon at the time, so I'm pretty sure she didn't catch it. Current cat rummages through my handbag looking for "toys" to steal.

Bet she didn't tell you in advance though. (So you already had supper planned! Grin)

She had no intention whatsoever of handing it over! Her spoils not mine. She carted it in with that dragging between the legs manoeuvre you see lions doing with a dead zebra!

I can confirm DH did not go out for more supplies but kindly let me have his cake Grin

My small cat is a greedy little twat too. She stuck her paw in my curry the other night Xmas Angry. I am seriously thinking about shutting her outside when we're eating, she will not take a telling about jumping up on the table.

Oh those innocent eyes. If you didn't have the photo evidence I'd never believe it!

Geillis Okay sorry but have to ask - did you eat the curry anyway?

I would've

Report
GeillisTheWitch · 15/12/2016 22:46

Yes I did. Five second rule counts for cat paws too, right?

He's very cute though OP!

My girl cat brought a sausage roll home a while back. She looks so pleased with herself. I thanked her very much for my treat and then put it in the bin. The look on her face was ShockAngry.

A few years ago I left 2 chicken breasts defrosting on the kitchen counter. I wondered where the dog was as she is usually glued to me. I found her and girl cat staring at one chicken breast on the floor that the cat had obviously pulled down and batted around a bit as it had tiny claw marks in it. I washed it off and made sure DP got that one when I served them up. He said it was beautifully tender Grin.

Geillis of course!

Heman Bit about your cat's reaction of you binning the second hand sausage roll made me laugh out loud Grin

Same cat also stole a duck breast at my parent's house. Dragged it from kitchen, through hall, across landing, into bedroom and under duvet to eat. Cream carpets. I was out visiting friends and couldn't understand the frosty reception when I got home....

Heman Lol I'm imaging a shock face like Gale's from Emmerdale/Corrie? Whichever one Grin

She's a bit of a troublemaker Sophie and a bit of a scrapper so it was more of a Pat Butcher grimace. Minus the earrings.

OK, my old bastard cat was a serious criminal with delusions of grandeur:

Was caught legging it off with a raw lamb kebab , unfortunately for him the skewer was too long /wide for the cat flap, cue cat running at flap and BANG! DH got that kebab.

One Xmas, I put the raw turkey on top of the fridge freezer, little sod was caught hurling himself at it from a table, he missed and did the Tom and Jerry splayed slide down the front of the fridge.

He loved milk, when he heard the milk mans van, would hurtle off and knock over the milk bottles on all my neighbors steps, some would smash, so he got milk-I had to buy milkcrates for 8 neighbors!

Tom, the bengal who owns my street, opens my bag if I put it down to unlock the door. Granted, there are quite often Dreamies in said bag, but if not, he'll have whatever's going.
