The litter tray

Erm... where does your cat sit when you're in the bathroom?

We've all seen the ones where they're in your trousers while you quietly contemplate... or laying upside down on the bathmat.... all once the territory of WizardCat.

But alas, not any more, she recently figured out she could sit on the toilet tank.. and now she sits on my shoulder, licking my nose and dribbling on my glasses!

::sigh::

Outside the door ready to trip you up when you open it and give you the evil eye for shutting them out.

Mine greatly enjoys stretching out on the memory foam bath mat... while randomly meowing at me for some cat biscuits.

WhoKnows, i have to let her in, i get yelled at if i don't.. she's not a lapcat, but i'm not allowed to be on the other side of a closed door from her!

She was outside earlier and i thought i might get 5 minutes in there to hide from the kids.... nope! I think i counted to 10 after shutting the door before i was getting shouted at to let her in there with me right now, how dare i be on the other side of a shut door from her!

I am allowed to go to the loo on my own. This has not always been the case - when I was pregnant with my pfb, the cats somehow knew I was pregnant, and decided amongst themselves that I needed proper supervision on the loo, for the duration of the pregnancy.

Both of them used to follow me upstairs into the bathroom, and then they'd sit on the edge of the bath, opposite the loo, watching me intently - heaven knows what they thought was going to go wrong - but I NEEDED close watching!

If I managed to get upstairs without one or other of them spotting me and alerting the other, so they could follow me, I would come out of the bathroom or bedroom to find them dashing upstairs in a panic, because they'd lost sight of me.

It all stopped once I had ds1, and never started again, even when I was pregnant with ds2 and ds3. Maybe I had shown I could be trusted to go to the loo on my own!

My kitten stands up on his hind legs with his front paws on the toilet seat when DP pees. He is absolutely fascinated and wants to be as close to the action as possible. Grin

she sits in the sink when i'm in the shower, or on the toilet if i put the lid down, staring at me...

Everyone else is allowed to pee in peace, just not me! Grin

Mine hops onto the side of the bath, onto my lap, then the sink. If I ignore him, he starts knocking things onto the floor, or runs off with the loo paper. There's much excitement on flushing, when he stands on his back legs because he must inspect what's being flushed. He's like the toilet police. Grin

On my knee x 3, the other one uses the bathroom litter tray to share the experience.
Cats are weird.

Haha Grin Madame isn't allowed in the bathroom. If she's feeling particularly clingy she sits outside miaowing pitifully, otherwise she gets on with cat stuff

One will run into the shower the moment he hears it being turned on. If he can get into the bathroom when I use the toilet, he'll sit at my feet and sniff my underwear. Both of them, if I have abath and they get in, will walk around the edge of the bath, patting at the water and leaning right in. I am scared to think what will happen if one of them ever falls in, but I'm sure it will involve claws and be my fault.

My cat's aren't interested in me on the loo (that's the dog's department) but they like to keep me company when I'm having a bath. One them in particular likes to sit on the edge and beg to be stroked, while his tail gets closer to the waterline and eventually goes under. A little while later he will jump down, flicking his tail over his head and then look massively affronted about getting wet. In the winter this is a twice weekly occurrence, you'd think he'd notice that he was dipping his tail into the bath and stop doing it!

Our cat's litter tray is in our bathroom. Quite regularly, kitty thinks we're two girls on a night out on the town and goes at the same time as me. I'm waiting for her to tell me all about her bf while we pee Grin

On the bath edge. CheesyKitten also gets her tail wet in the bath and then acts surprised. Cats always seem to get their tails into trouble... it's like they forget their tail is a part of them until too late.

I don't like an audience so they wait squashed up against the door. Normally fall asleep if I'm showering. So then I have to push a heavy heap of cats away when I open the door, like opening a castle keep.

Loving these!

Her other habit is to pick the remains of DHs shower water out of the bath!

Boycat sits on my lap. If I tip him off to wipe, he jumps back on and seems tot think it's a game.

Girlcat sits on the back of the toilet and nibbles my ear.

In the bath, or occasionally on the back of the toilet seat to create a warm, moving cushion for the lower spine.

Harry sits on the edge of the bath or at my feet. He also comes in the bathroom when I'm having a shower and sits and stares at me - we have a pervert cat!
