Maybe now with fewer episodes and time on their hands the writing will improve with some decent story lines.

Thanks ellenanora

I like Rishi. He makes me laugh.

Thanks for linking Jane yes I like Rishi, he's the only one with a sense of fun.

Does Laurel really not see how she is treating Arthur, she gushes over Archie and how great he is, she was even shouting Loser Loser to Arthur after the rounders game.

And now he'll be blamed if something happens to Dotty because she told him to keep an eye on her when she went off to do something else.

Victoria was totally living up to @flamingnoravera description of her as Mrs Doyle tonight the way she made her entrance to the pub Grin

Poor Arthur. Somebody rescue him. Preferably Jimmy.

Lauren is so incredibly dense its unbelievable. Of course it's her fault. Arthur couldn't mourn his father's death properly because of his mother's love life and then his grandad fecked off too. Hate this storyline.

Where were they having the BBQ was it the Sharmas garden? Wouldn't they have CCTV ?

Totally shallow but I really like Charity's hair in a smooth bob Grin

I was only thinking tonight that Vic had gone over to the Doyle side again @JaneJeffer

Yes so true about Victoria, the way she walked/shuffled into the Woolpack was really strange, and how are they going to shoe horn in the restaurant at home farm, does Eric still have is restaurant open.

Laurel is cut from the same cloth as Debbie, always puts men before her children, Ashley was barely cold before she started up with Bob, poor Arthur had to put with his kids too, then comes along Jai and Archie and Arthur is shoved to the side again.

At least he has Gabby to turn too, she has way more cop on than Laurel.

Wow! Arthur is such a fab wee actor! Great stuff from him tonight.

Laurel has totally undermined herself by admitting she only wanted Swirling to scare Arthur. Grin he’ll not be afraid to act out again!

Well done Arthur!!

He's brilliant isn't he.

Does anyone really think Malone is gone for good, I hope he is but I just can't see him going that quietly.

I wish they’d killed bloody will. I can’t stand looking at his miserable face. And he’s such a bad actor.

I burst out laughing at the state of Will's face today. I'm sure Malone will be back.

It’s all a bit tedious at the moment.

Did anyone else notice Luke washing his hands while singing happy birthday? Think it was Monday. I was really confused as it was filmed before lockdown wasn't it? He also was singing while scrubbing his hands but then Victoria walked in and he just grabbed a towel and dried them, without even finishing! Odd!

Report
JaneJeffer · 14/05/2020 10:57

Yes he didn't rinse the soap off! The HB song was a thing before lockdown though so I think it was just a coincidence.

Snozzlemaid · 14/05/2020 13:07

I was thinking that as they've obviously reached the point when they were filming when washing our hands became a thing, that they must be close to running out of filmed episodes now.

How am I going to cope without it? I've been watching for half my life! Sad

There was also a clearly shoed-in scene a week or so ago when Chaz had bought a massive vat of antibac stuff.

I've never particularly liked Mandy but this is the worst she's ever been, can't stand her now

Agree about this drugs/gangster storyline, boring and ridiculous and that Mandy is annoying. Like her son though and interested in his storyline with his Dad.
Has Vanessa got a terminal illness.

No, you’re not! Grin

So the vicar, formerly copper was playing her own version of cops and robbers back in the day! Grin shagging the crims and the bobbies!

Has anyone seen Kim Tate recently? Where’s she gone?
