Greys anatomy getting out of hand

Honestly, it's a drama not a bloody post apocalyptic horror. These doctors are permanently in crises situations. Another plane crash?!

This week was a bit shark-jumpy for me; have stuck with it out of habit for the last few series but I'm thinking I'm done now. It's so ludicrous and so over the top and a bit boring - how can so few people have such awful luck? Hmm

They have jumped the shark many times over by now!

It was a filler episode, wasn't it, only two actors in it. Hopefully this means there'll be an episode without whatshisface and Dreary Meredith later on.

Oh I liked it! Was glad they got together at last.

Yep it's rubbish compared to how it used to be, just watch out of habit now! The will they won't they - you knew they would all along!

I know right. Anther near Plane Crash? Really? And that one at the beginning of the series in the prison?? That was just...odd...

Stopped watching years ago. Got too unbelievable for me

After Lexie and Mark die, it's basically unwatchable.

Everything is just so overblown now, even the surgeries are just to prove how brilliant they all are Hmm. I skipped a big chunk of the last couple of series and have found myself doing the same this one, don't quite know why I'm bothering Grin

Greys anatomy is utterly hilarious and so far from any truthful representation of medicine and life- I used to love it but now I just watch it because I enjoy trying to work out who has had Botox etc.

I gave up Grey's after Derek died. It just had got too ridiculous.

It's always been such bollocks.

I hated when derek died it was the most awful episode and he was such a big character and it was all so quickly.

I still watch it but find it quite disjointed and that there's no real central character. Bailey has mellowed, Meridith has lost her dark and twisty side and Amelia and April are annoying. It's running out of storylines it feels.

Amelia is so annoying leaving Owen and not even explaining her self it's getting ridiculous.

It's not the same without Christina. I keep thinking if ditching it totally.

I have about 12 episodes backed up on my Tivo. I can't be arsed. They're all so whiny and annoying.

Report
Msqueen33 · 07/05/2017 22:56

Why the hell did she marry Owen? And then just takes off. It makes no sense. It all feels very fragmented like there's no central character. I miss Mer and Christina together. The last batch of interns were rubbish. So far nothing has come out of the Jo and her abusive husband story line and if it wasn't for the fact I love Mer and the old series' I wouldn't watch.

I just had a look on Tivo & our series link was for HD. Since we downgraded our bundle, Sky HD access is now denied. I can delete the folder with a clear conscience. It's telling I am not bothered.

Too many people have left. They should try and get Yang or Izzy back at least... I think they're the only ones who aren't dead??

I have dipped in and out of this series. I agree that it has run its course. I used to love snuggling on the sofa on my days off and binge watch it.

It'll have been written for Ellen Pompeo's emmy submission episode. As Sondra "values her highly" (ie she knows she loses the series when Ellen decides to go.)

The actor who played Riggs just got lucky he got a handy vehicle too :D. Altho if I were him I'd be submitting the episode where the daughter who has been missing for 20 years shows up. He was very good in that.

Which reminds me that now Meredith and Riggs are together we just have to wait for her to be happy and that along will come Owen's sister, who conveniently is a doctor. ..

It's been a while since they killed an intern, I vote for Jo.

It has always been tosh but used to be easy watching but is so repetitive now and has been for a long time. No one has any continuity of character and are hypocrites. For example when Bailey injected the boy with the Aids virus against his parents wishes and let Edwards take the blame - but she is so so harsh to anyone else that breaks protocol. They are all dreadful - Alex should be in prison. Jo is a pointless character.

Bailey is worst manager of the year - imagine not telling your head of the interns programme (Webber) that you are bringing in someone to replace him!
Amelia told Owen she really wanted kids - married him and then said - actually I don't want kids (and she knew that had been the problem with Christine.
Owen kept saying he wanted kids and after Christina started going out with the Doctor from a different hospital but dumped her when she said she wanted 3 kids and would like to take some maternity leave (as he thought she lacked dedication to the profession) so he would get what he wanted but rejects it!_

Is Arizona the most unconvincing Lesbian ever? and a bad actress - that fake toothy grin!
I think I watch it (when I am ill) as they are all so horrifically dreadful and self obsessed it has a strange fascination.

Used to be a HUGE fan, turned most for my friends on to it, haven't even bothered watching this series, the last one jumped the shark too much for me.

Its on record on Sky I just deleted without even thinking now

Arizona does my head in, with her cheesy face and overacting. There seems to be a huge proportion of female gay surgeons who always fall in love with her, and yet I can't recall there ever featuring a male gay character in the main cast.

I recently re-watched from the very beginning, and I agree that Yang's departure was the turning point. It lost it's humour after that and I stopped caring about the characters. Even Karev who I used to love is a nothing character now.
