Hello, I'm quite enjoying the programme but would enjoy it even more if I knew what was happening and how it is going to end!

I thought it might be worth seeing if there are other people like me, or who have read the book, and would like a thread were nothing is out of bounds.

If it's not for you, please don't read on!

I have trawled the internet to find out the ending / twist and can't seem to find it.

Is anyone willing to start us off by telling me the ending?

Does anyone else prefer something when they know the outcome? I HATE surprises!

MoreThanUs Mon 30-Jan-17 15:33:33

Just me then?

Str4ngedaysindeed Mon 30-Jan-17 15:35:45

Are you sure you want to know??

MoreThanUs Mon 30-Jan-17 15:42:37

I am so so sure! Please tell me!

clairethewitch70 Mon 30-Jan-17 15:43:35

I want to know too!

OlennasWimple Mon 30-Jan-17 15:43:47

Really? AFAIR the twist in the book is right at the very end, so I'm presuming that the programme will show it late on too...

MoreThanUs Mon 30-Jan-17 15:50:09

Yes, as I said in t OP, I enjoy things so much more if I know what is going to happen. It's just that I hate the suspense of not knowing. There must be loads of people like me, and I realised the other thread is not for us, as we want to know!

lovecamping Mon 30-Jan-17 15:56:17

I really want to know too!

Thisrabbitthatrabbit Mon 30-Jan-17 15:56:29

I'm interested.

We were watching last night , and dh thinks that Mark has gone in and killed the work colleague/rapist, but is going to make it appear that Yvonne has done it (dh doesn't trust Mark!). Close, or not?

MoreThanUs Mon 30-Jan-17 15:58:06

Viva la revolution!

Thisrabbitthatrabbit Mon 30-Jan-17 16:00:35

Someone Pm'd me that Mark kills George and they are both put on trial.

absolutelynotfabulous Mon 30-Jan-17 16:02:42

Um.......maybe....wink.

ShoutOutToMyEx Mon 30-Jan-17 16:05:59

I'm desperate to know as well!

Ulysses Mon 30-Jan-17 16:06:10

Not close keeplooking.

I can't just come out and say what the twist was, but it wasn't a particularly OMG moment for me. What I would say though, that it's worth bearing in mind, all of this is from her point of view and she's maybe not the most reliable narrator...

MoreThanUs Mon 30-Jan-17 16:10:36

Tell us!! That's the point of the thread! I've made it clear in the title and in the Op that it's for people who want to know.

Come on - people are usually desperate to give spoilers for things. I thought we'd be flooded!

MoreThanUs Mon 30-Jan-17 16:11:43

Is she found guilty? Is he?

Thisrabbitthatrabbit Mon 30-Jan-17 16:15:26

The person who PMd me couldn't remember. Somebody must want to spoil it for us??

MoreThanUs Mon 30-Jan-17 16:23:28

I think if you're not wired like this you don't get it.

Please tell us - it really won't spoil it for us!

HumpHumpWhale Mon 30-Jan-17 16:28:09

My memory is a bit hazy, but... He kills the rapist. (Or nearly kills? Can't quite remember)
She's accused of being complicit.
He's not a spy or whatever he's implied he is, he's a security guard.
She basically claims to have had no idea he was so violent.
He says she didn't know he was going to do it.
She gets off.
It turns out she asked him to do it.

absolutelynotfabulous Mon 30-Jan-17 16:29:41

I didn't think there was a particularly notable twist, either. I thought the ending was quite...predictable. There's lots of description of the court case in the book. Maybe you should like, actually read it?grin.

MoreThanUs Mon 30-Jan-17 16:29:54

Is that the twist - that she ordered the killing?

MoreThanUs Mon 30-Jan-17 16:30:09

Meant to say, thank you!

Thisrabbitthatrabbit Mon 30-Jan-17 16:31:14

Ooh I actually quite like that! A bit devious. I'll have to keep watching now.

absolutelynotfabulous Mon 30-Jan-17 16:32:47

X-post with hump. Yes, that's about it. smile.

The bit in Court was good in the book. Especially the bit where they picked up on the "I'm cheap and easy" comment (from ep. 1).
