I'm loving it, they just had a lovely segment on. Someone singing weetus' little respect while pics and statistics about aids and repression were shown.

It was Erasure. The original version I think? My gay friends have turned it off. I'm sticking with it.

Oh, don't be embarrassed that some of us are old enough to remember the original!

Ok I'll stay then! I'm really enjoying this. I've always been so pro gay rights, it has to be watched!

Stinklebell · 31/03/2014 22:38

I can't see Erasure without thinking of the Trevor & Simon versions .

A lad I used to go to college with is there. Have the male choir been on yet, I think he's in that.

I'm quite enjoying it, though I didn't expect to. I'm a hardened old hag, but feeling quite emotional - watching those clips of the 80s, and remembering what it was like then, and how far we've come Smile

Yes. My mate was down Compton street the day of the bomb. I was frantic. It seems like yesterday.

Who is the pregnant lady in green? She looks familiar.

The lady in green is probably a theatre singer. They are all. Good job they have the connections I can't imagine any of my family doing a turn!
