For all you 'X' Fans hanging out in 'tele addicts'...we've managed to secure a special mumsnet messenger, who's agreed to pass on your questions to Rebecca F during Friday's rehearsals for this weekend's Semi Final. Post your q's to Rebecca on this thread by lunchtime tomorrow and we'll be selecting our favourite TEN questions which will be put to Rebecca on Friday. We'll post her answers up on Friday evening. Think she's just become MNHQ favourite Wink

Lord, NEVER let her see the XF thread. Tho, to be fair, she comes off OK.

OK, Rebecca, as a fellow Lone Parent, did you think about the impact winning or getting as far as you have will have on your children? Do you think it will benefit them? Not having a go, I'm interested in the balance between material gain and the exposure to fame or seeing less of you. Thanks and good luck [fgrin}

Oh, and how much does Simon's hair look like a minge close up? Thanks again.

Why cant the contestants in the xfactor house have a bedroom each? Its not like big brother; surely a bit of privacy would be good? Whats the logic with it? Does it bother you?

Don't you think it is time you did some dancing?

Dear Rebecca,
Absolutely love you and hope you or Matt win as you are the two with the most recognisable talent.
Do you write any material yourself that you hope to record one day?
PS completely respect your decision to try and do the best for your kids in this manner. We all have to make sacrifices. Good luck!

Does it feel odd being the only woman with a bit of class on this year's fac?

You're lovely and I hope you win.

Rebecca, you're sooooo lovely. I got a vibe about you the moment you walked onto the stage, gloriously elegant and you could hear the talent that wasn't hiding very well behind your lack of confidence.

Is there a divide between the 'singers' and 'performers' in the contest as there does appear to be two types of act in one show and did all the 'singers' breathe a sigh of relief when Wagner left simply because it must be soul destroying to leave the show before Wagner when he had so little singing ability?

Good luck for the future. I love to listen to you sing and look at your beautiful face. (Sorry if this is a bit gushy but I am so impressed with your work).

which of the contestants do you get on with best? ( you can't say "ooh i love all of them")

What songs does your daughter like you to sing to her?

Report
BitOfFun · 01/12/2010 19:42

Rebecca- out of all the judges, pick one each to Snog, Marry or Push Off A Cliff.

Also- how do you get your eyelashes to stay put?

Pleeeeese come on our Xfactor thread under a pseudonym and have a good therapeutic slagging off of the other contestants if you don't win. But you should. You are my favourite.

BitOfFun · 01/12/2010 19:46

Ooh, can I adapt my question?

Leaving out your mentor, because you have to be nice about them, out of the other three, who would you snog, who would you marry, and who would you push off a cliff?

Hi Rebecca, your voice has always stood out in the competition as it so beautiful and unique.
When did you really start singing? Were you self taught? When did you realise what an amazing gift you have?
Sorry three questions, but short ones. Smile

Hi Rebecca
Do you and the other contestants receive any media training whilst involved in X Factor? And do you have full access to internet/papers/tv whilst in the house?

Good luck, you deserve to win!

Hello Rebecca,

I absolutely love you and hope you win.

You mentioned on a recent show that people seem to think the X Factor is the first time you've dipped your toe into being a professional singer, but said that it wasn't.

I'm just being nosey and wondering what kind oof other performances/song writing/recording you've done in the past.

I think you and your children are absolutely beautiful btw.

Stopping now before I sound like a crazed fan!

Rebecca you are fantastic. What songs would you really like to sing?
Your hair is gorgeous - what products do you use?
On a scale of 1-10 how much does Cher get on your tits?
Are you slightly worried that Cheryl will duff you up if you disagree with her?

I have no idea who you are as I live overseas at the moment and have seen NONE of the X Factor this year (am still wondering whether this "Cher" I keep hearing about is THE Cher or another contestant) but would love to hear how you actually get chosen as it's always puzzled me. There is NO WAY the judges could actually listen to all those millions of people lined up in the audition episodes. Do the producers listen to everyone and then chose some - a few good, a few bad, a few controversial etc - to be on the telly?

Thanks and good luck. I will be home for Christmas so if you win will no doubt hear your song....
