My legs are ok(ish), but leggings seem to add extra chunk factor.

personally, I find the extra weight of leggings control the flab a bit more, IYSWIM

I would with thick, woolly ribbed tights, as long as the dress was not that short.

I half mid-calf (2"heels) and 2 under-knee boots (1 pair flat, other 3"heels).

My dad used to call my sister and I Max wall in the 80s too. We used to wear leggings, men's jackets and DMs.

I really must have looked like I had raided a dressing up box.

I wear sweater dresses with tights until I shrink the dress in the wash and then I wear them as tunics with skinny jeans.

Doesn't matter how careful I am they always shrink.

I did the old man charity shop suits too (complete with crotch stains, mmmm). But the main look (as I remember) was leggings (or tight striped trousers) worn with a hip length t-shirt with a man's leather belt on top, slung round the widest part of the hips in a swashbuckling fashion - fabulous.

Noooooooooo, not the flat cap. My mum still has mine, from BHS I caught her putting it on DD of 13months because she thought it looked cute. Oh the shame.

I saw a queenager in town today wearing the pixie boots, leggings, long tee, swashbuckler belt and old man jacket boyfriend blazer. For a moment I thought there was a time portal between Boots and Millets and I had stepped back to the 80s.
