Has anyone got one? Are they really the most versatile 'piece' ever - or just a really big flappy expensive cardi?

I've got a few! They are great - absolutely fab. You can wear them so many ways and with absolutely anything.

Choogirl has one and loves it. She very nearly talked me into buying one....

Don't know where you live but if near Oxfordshire, they have them in the DKNY shop at Bicester Village for about £50

oooh .... am in London ... have done the drive to bicester before, it's not arduous, especially not for a £50 Cozy ....!!!

Woohoo! Haven't braved Bicester this year and don't think the DKNY shop was there last time I visited. Will definitely be taking the 45 minute drive over there

Great - but be warned, lots of new boutiques there so don't expect to come away with just the cozy!! The other week they had them in just about all colours by the way but stock does move quickly. If I pop in before the weekend I'll post here and let you know. Happy shopping!

I'm wearing mine now and love it. Paid £160 in Selfridges. It is versatile, today I'm wearing flappy, tomorrow it will be worn fitted wrap style. There is a video on the DKNY website which shows lots of different ways to wear it. I'm away on business and it saves me packing lots of cardies.

I'm so tempted! Nowhere near Bicester unfortunately I'm up in Cheshire.

I want one....saw something similar in All Saints, although not as versatile, and still £90 at the outlet village.

notjustapuppymum and choogirl what colours have you got? I've got a black one and love it. I'm after one in the Juniper (purple) colour - they sell it in Selfridges but was out of stock when I went

I have a black and a heathery lilac DKNY cozy.

But my cozy piece de la resistance is a Donna Karan pure cashmere one I bought on ebay for a song. It was pale blue, but I dyed it navy in a large pot on the cooker.

It is to die for, like wearing a fluffy cloud

Zembo · 16/09/2009 21:45

Bloomingdales don't ship to the UK do they which is a shame!

LTEC - thanks for that! will order from there.

Zembo · 16/09/2009 21:47

Macherie do you know what the Donna Karan version is called, sounds very toasty.

geordieminx · 16/09/2009 21:48

Zembo... it is a shame... Although not a shame that I shall be there in 3 weeks

Zembo · 16/09/2009 21:50

You lucky minx!

Macherie - if the DK one is This one its a bit on the pricey side (for me anyway)

LetThemEatCake · 16/09/2009 22:06

Lucky Zembo ... I lusted after the purple one... have decided against for now though, have an eminently practical and dressed-down winter ahead ...

on that note - minx, can I please have the baby next week? so as to maximise my mum's usefulness and presence?? she's only here until the 17th!!

Zembo · 16/09/2009 22:13

Off topic but LTEC good luck with your birth - i envy you having another home birth - I had an amazing one last Dec (and still have the stain in the rug to prove it!)

Report
LetThemEatCake · 16/09/2009 22:26

thanks Zembo!! I had first hb in pool (no stained carpet) and 2nd in tiny gap of carpet between pool and bed with husband having to catch baby ... cream carpet, utterly ruined.

In a diff house now and have done the rounds of the charity shops in the area this time and have good stash of sheets and towels to cover floor with just in case I don't make it to the pool (downstairs, fake wood floors) and end up on all fours in (carpeted) bedroom again!!

Am so pleased you had a good experience, and you definitely deserve a purple Cozy for your efforts

I've found a few on US ebay for £60ish...how on earth do you tell if they're genuine though?

Notme if you want to link to the ebay one I'll compare it to mine.

TBH, I don't really think that this is the sort of thing that counterfeiters would bother with, it's quite a niche product, the market for it wouldn't be big enough to make it worth their while.
