Will a boho <shudder> disc type belt make my hips look slimmer ?

I'm not particularly 'hippy'/pear-shaped at all, but they have definitely widened since pregnancy etc. I used to look tall, leggy and a bit willowy in jeans, but now I have a tendency to look dumpier (despite being a sz 12 with 32 in inside leg). Will an oversized belt make me look slimmer or just like I'm trying to hard ???

they look good if you are short waisted - they can make your body look longer

are you going to wear with jeans or low slung over skirts?

I don't think I'm particularly short waisted either...

If you are tall I think it would look great and a simple update to a normal wardrobe without looking too much. If you were short it might not be the best thing

Totally, but I think the disk ones are a bit overdone. I have a lovely wide leather cream one from River Island that I adore. River Island is fabulous for belts so I would totally go there.

Maybes Topshop but they tend to be a bit uber for me.
