I know they aren't very stylish but where can I find a 'nice' balaclava?

They are all black or blue!
Surely someone makes them in different colours?!
I'm sure I saw a childs one a while ago in patterned fabric.....
Need one for my mum and also maybe one for a child.
Please help me on my quest!

Try googling for ski wear - there are loads of different colours available in ski stores, usually. Would look for you but am currently on hold for Toast.......am only 41 in the queue and apparently wont take too long!!

I am extremely sensitive to the cold and generally find that nice (upmarket) department stores are best for hats/gloves/scarves etc - they seem to get really nice things that chains never do.

and this one for kids

If its not a stupid question.......why do you need them? I only ask because if its for a ski trip, there are always loads on sale in resort.

No not a silly question-maybe a silly answer though! Dog walking! Mum has been saying she'd love one cos she gets so cold-most of where she walks is very windy as its in the open, through fields, and the kids one was a bit of an after thought as dd often goes with her so thought she should have one too!
Thank you so much-can't believe I couldn't find one

get a Buff. just a sort of tube, can wrap it in a variety of ways over/round head/neck.

lots of patterns.

DH puts his on DD when he's taking her to nursery on the bike.

I had a thread on this the other day, some good links provided, more practical than stylish though. See here

There was a lovely fleecy snood (snigger) type thing in the fat face sale that I wanted to buy and my sister laughed at.

It was patterned fleece and could be worn as a hat or a neck warmer thing or as a balaclva. I still rue the day that I let my sister and her style police comments prevent me from buying it.

Not sure if you have a fat face near you but would be worth a look as fab
