In my head I'm Audrey Hepburn, but in the flesh I'm a less-groomed version of Dawn French. Always get a surprise when I catch sight of myself in shop windows.

DD1's school teacher. She's probably approaching her mid-50s, but is exceptionally elegant in a flowing sort of way.

Audrey Hepburn and Jackie O...however the reality is rather different.

Went on a 5 hour shopping spree yesterday with by v v trendy friend as I need guidance and there is nothing in the shops and there doesn't appear to be any particular fashion - it's very vague.

no one, if i like the look of something i buy it and create my own style - i don't care whether something is in fashion or not.

Some days I look a bit twee, somedays a bit punky etc. Most weekdays I don't bother trying very hard though as the only person that sees me is dd, and thanks to her grabbing everything in sight and shoving it in her mouth I've had to reduce my accessories down to the bare minimum and wear my hair up most days!

I would love to dress in the glamourous style of the 40's, all nipped in waists and groomed hair and hats!

according to DD's friend I am a bit weird but rather like Hideehi, that blooming Kate Moss is always nicking my ideas. She really should get a life of her own and stop stalking me >> Last winter I tried (unsuccessfully) to bring moonboots back in fashion, but just you wait - Kate Moss will have a pair on at some point soon, remember who had em on first

Earth mother or red hot babe

Which means lots of browns and greens when with children to hide the stains and the occasional bright red top etc when I'm not

I love Audrey Hepburn's look and I also think that Trinny whatserface often looks really good. However, I am very short and curvy, so their looks don't really translate to my body!

The nearest I can think of to the way I dress is that woman off the property programmes - Kirsty somebody I think.

Lol - thanks Hideehi! Actually, having googled her, she doesn't seem to look like I remembered. I seem to have a picture of her wearing lovely 50s style black skirts and Hobbs-type boots. Maybe I dreamt that because in the only pics I can find of her, she appears to be wearing some kind of sack.
