Chop or not *pictures*

I really want to go for the chop but not feeling very brave. I want a short asymmetric bob and have styled a kinda mock do...
So one picture is me, one is a mock do and the pink is kind of how I want it, but not pink.

Honest opinions please... Chop or not?

Definitely chop. It makes you look loads younger.

Chop. It totally suits you

I’d say go for it as I used to have a similar hair cut and it really made me feel much ‘cooler’ and edgy (instead of my normal mum look lol)
The reason I grew mine out was for big family wedding that I wanted a softer look for .... if you’ve not intentions of growing your hair longer then I think you will be glad you did it 👍🏻Also very versatile I thought ...can be styled more like a basic bob or put to one side to expose the shaved bit or put in French braids too
👍🏻Sorry if that’s a big brain splodge 🙈

Those suggested chops are horrid! There’s a middle ground between a chop and shaving half your head. I think a long bob with layers would be lovely

I don't want to rain on your parade but I would vote not.

It's a pretty big change and if you're not confident then maybe there is a reason.

I think you look very pretty as you are-but I might not be there target audience...

Definitely chop but not have your head shaved

I worry my nose stands out more with short hair. I am feeling mumsy lately though!

Chop but I did it and growing it out again is a bitch

What's wrong with your nose? I've turned the light up on my phone and zoomed and everything...?

I'm usually anti-chop but I like the mock do you've done, not so keen on the shaved styles. You'd have to be very committed to it to do that, as it'll take a long time of awkward hair growth to reverse it if you change your mind. Without the shaved bits would be better.

I actually love the cut on the pink one and think it would really suit you. I've had small bits of shaved side before and don't find it too bad to grow out as all you have to do it use a couple of Kirby grips on it. Go for it!

I was drawn to your eyes rather than your (perfectly normal looking) nose. I say do it!

Chop but not shave...

You could braid the side to achieve a similar look

Thanks to those saying my nose is fine! I hate it, it's like a ski slope Grin.

I think you look lovely anyway but you suit longer hair

Your nose is a perfectly normal lovely looking nose! I don't like mine either btw so I know you'll take no notice of us but you have a nice nose.

Have you tried putting some waves in your hair as it is now, to add texture? I like it how it is but if you're just fancying a change because you think it's boring then just doing that might be enough?

Chop! You look lovely with either style, and your nose is perfect, but a change is as good as a holiday! Especially if you're feeling mumsy, that style will pick you up and it'll always grow back if you don't like It!

I do quite often curl it for a change. But it still feels quite boring.

It would look quite cool and edgy cut in that style. I think the side hanging over the eye would get on my nerves though. It depends if that would bother you. That's the main reason I like having longer hair- I can put it all up if it's hot/annoying me.

I'd love to see some After pictures if you take the plunge. Smile Sometimes it's just great fun to change the way you look. Someone up thread said that style is versatile which is good if you quickly get bored of a style.

It will grow back so why not try it?

I love these kinds of asymmetrical styles with an undercut, I say go for it. It’s only hair, it grows back. I never really understand why people are so precious about cutting hair, it’s not something permanent like a tattoo! (Well thay isn’t if you’re brave enough for laser!)

Be brave and go for the chop! If you don’t like it then you can grow it out.

I think I am going to go for it, it will always grow back of I hate it. We are off to Egypt next month too so it will be easier to deal with on holiday.

Definitely go for the bob. I probably wouldn’t shave the sides to begin with - se how you like it. If you really love it you could consider shaving it then. If you don’t like it it would be really easy to grow. ( stop obsessing about your nose... it’s completely fine. )
