I want to smell like a scone

Or something creamy and fruity - was just eating one on the weekend thinking how lovely it would be to smell cream and jammed scones all day

Has anyone come across a perfume like this?

Grin doubt you'll find a perfumr, but you could try using fruity body butters (raspberry not strawberry because synthetic strawberry smells are vile), maybe try the body shop? Later it with something vanilla based and you will smell delicious!

Try Library of Fragrance perfumes (online or in Boots). They do lots of unusual smells including Angel food, Cupcake and Jam doughnut!

My DH doesn't like my favourite perfume, because he says I smell like biscuits! I cannot see how this is a bad thing Grin Boss Orange. It's quite sweet and has a vanilla note.

A quick search on Fragrantica brought up a few possible options!! www.fragrantica.com/notes/Strawberry-261.html

You need to get yourself in to the world of Gourmand perfume, OP! There are gazillions of fragrances with fruity, sugary, creamy, sweet, bakery-type notes.

Have a peruse of Fragrantica. You can type in a perfume note or browse perfume notes and it will give you a list of fragrances with that note.

Or come and join the Perfumista thread for suggestions? WARNING: You will be enabled to spend money you don't have on things that smell nice Grin.

Blimey, most perfumes suit your tastes! There are SO SO many Gourmand (or ‘gourmet’) perfumes from every single fragrance / designer house. The world is your overly sweet oyster!

(And at a prettt accessible price point, try Cookies and Cream by Philosophy. Around £40 I reckon).

4160 Tuesdays do a Vanilla Crumble perfume. It's lovely layered over their rhubarb and custard one!

Cinnamon Buns Shower gel by Philosophy is awesome.

As per mnhq’s latest thread I may have to email dh with a request for a scone-like perfume for Mother’s Day

Thanks will have a look at the links.. Had a look on perfume parlour but sadly turned up nothing - cookies and cream and vanilla crumble sound promising though.

I would love to join the perfumista threads but I don’t think my nose is sophisticated enough!

How about a madeleine cake?

Les Senteurs Gourmandes have a vanilla/orange/cinnamon/cake EDP that is delicious, and very similar to the lovely discontinued L de Lolita Lempicka.

It's delicious if you are a fan of gourmande perfumes.

Try Demeter. Every smell in the world, bottled.

They don't have Scone, but they do have Kitten Fur, Gin and Tonic and New Baby.

Perhaps you could mix Vanilla, Strawberry, Rain, Fireplace, Fresh Brewed Coffee or Earl Grey Tea and Kitten Fur for the ultimate comfort fragrance.

The Perfume Society has great info on ingredients etc. I like to go to them when looking for a new perfume. Maybe look at Juliette Has A Gun - Miss Charming?
