I like Elizabeth Arden 5th Avenue and Madonna Truth or Dare but interested to see if there are other good ones within that price range

Lidl do one called Suddenly by Madame Glamour. It lasts ages and it's only £3.99! Dh says it's the nicest one I've had

I wear Lovely most days during the day and people are always asking me what perfume I'm wearing.

Eau de Nude by next as it smells just like Coco Madamoiselle.

Paradise by Next which I just like to wear occasionally.

A nice one I've found recently is Petal Crush at New Look. The name sounds light and cutesy but it's got oud in it, among other things, and actually smells quite spicy and mysterious. Also Like Body Shop Smoky Rose.

Next Eau de Nude is just like Coco Mademoiselle and a bit stronger than the Lidl one. Next Cashmere is quite nice too.

Polka by Primark is in theory nice if you like Paco Rabanne lady millions which it is apparently a dupe of...but I found it really cloying on me. It did last ages though, longer than my current Marc Jacobs which seems to fall off into the ether as soon as I step off my front doorstep.

Eden do a great collection that are cheap and v v similar to lots of high street (and often more expensive) perfumes

I love Bath House perfume (based in the Lakes) I discovered them on holiday and particularly love Velvet Orchid and Cardamom which is a gorgeous oriental vanilla. They have 12ml sizes for under £20.

I also think some of the M&S perfumes are good:
Aqua
True Red
New York

Lolita Lempicka is also one of my favourite ever vanilla fragrances (vanilla and liquorice) and you can often get a bottle under £20.

Lanvin Eclat d Arpege. Lilac, peony and a light musk.

Jade by Yardley is similar to Cristalle. I actually prefer it as it's "greener"

I picked something up in Superdrug called Basil Lime Mandarin which is fab for the fiver I paid.

Obviously Perfume Parlour dupes are all cheap as chips as well.

Omg I have found the most amazing perfume, it smells "expensive" it's called Stella by a company called "Vernet" and I swear it costs £4.99.

I bought it from an independent chemist but have looked it up online too.

Some of the Roger & Gallet colognes are lovely - Bois d'Orange, Cedrat, etc.

Another vote for Yardley Jade. Absolutely love it.
Marks and Spencers do some beautiful scents, although they don't last very long on me.
