M and S 5 pocket jeggings

Do M and S not do these anymore? You know, the ones with the actual waistband and button/zip fly.

These have been my staple for years and where can I find similar?

they're now called Super Skinny, but do check the lengths, as they don't always match up to the sizes they used to be.

Do you mean the super skinny jeans? There are plenty online.

Like you these have been my choice for years. They do fade quickly though, no matter how carefully they are washed. If you have any success maintaining the colour please share!

Recently decided to check for similar elsewhere (due to the fading issue) but have decided these really are the best ones around for me.

I just dye them with dylon machine dye once they start to fade. It hold much better than the original colour, and I normally chuck a few old towels or tshirts in with them for a bit of a pep up, which I feel justifies the fiver spent on dye!

I think they are the super skinny now as well. The main change seems to be the super narrow ankles!! They are ridiculous to take off - I always end up having to turn them inside out!

They were a staple here too. Even my DD's wore them (at sixth form). They do now seem to be the super skinny "jeans" but are not cut the same. My DD's have transferred to Primark. The black ones they bought wash brilliantly and have not faded but are a thicker material than the old M&S ones and the lighter colored ones/jean colours have stretched badly and are a thinner material.

I have gone more upmarket and bought Fatface 5 pocket jeggings (with a discount code)that are working out well (fabric a bit thicker) and are not so tight at the ankles. They are cut a bit lower on the tummy and I was able to go down a size. I look much slimmer in their "midnight" (black) ones. People have asked if I've lost weight! (I haven't) they seem to be keeping their shape and colour well.

meant to say we also tried Dorothy Perkins Eden ones (in black)and they faded really badly even after the first wash and after a few weeks wear had stretched at the waist band and gone very baggy on the thighs. Waste of money.

The new ‘superskinny’ is so different from my old faithful 5 pocket jeggings. So sad :-(

Not prepared to spend ££££ on the fat face

Anyone know any with a really good high waist? I loved the white stuff jade jeggings but they’ve been discontinued. The M and S ones aren’t quite high enough

I have a couple of pairs i bought at an outlet in summer but they dont seem to have them anymore, they are so soft i would have bought more

I went into M&S the other day and made the same sad discovery. The super skinnies are completely different, i.e. super skinny!

Not been yet but my next stop is Uniqlo, they looked like they had some stuff worth trying.

As per previous posters, they have changed the format!

I have now found the Per Una 'Lift and Sculpt' jeans to be a good substitute. But more expensive.

Funnily enough I started a very similar thread yesterday so I feel your pain!

I bought a pair of Tesco jeans which are fantastic. They are body shaping ones I think and I love them more than I used to love my m&s ones!

To update, I had great success with the skinny jeans in Sainsbury's today. £15 - 25% off so a total bargain!

I buy the five pocket jeggings new on eBay for £14.99. I don't like the super skinny jeans that have apparently replaced them because I have a gammy ankle so I can't even get the bloody things on!

I love the Sainsbury's Super Skinny High Waisted jeans for £16. Perf 👌

Anatidae I mourn the loss of the White Stuff Jade jeggings as well. However, unlike everyone on here I love the M and S super skinny jeans. The high waist makes them more comfortable and far more flattering on me.

I didn't notice that Sainsbury's did high waisted and assumed all their skinny jeans were the same. Mine say mid rise but they are pretty high on me to be honest.

Next do some great pairs. The pull on ones in washed black come in a sturdier material than a lot of jeggings so give a better shape. They are high waisted and brilliant for £18.

I wear them all the time.
