Ive been looking for black boots to wear with skirts and dresses
Useable for work and casual
I want not too high.
I wanted not to have the cut off shape that a chelsea boot gives ( i do have chelsea boots in brown but thought it would be more aesthetic for my stumpy legs to try a lower front)
I bought these two last night online ( can return)
Do you like either? Not sure now!
Any other suggestions?

I'm not fond of either of them, but more importantly, what do they look like when they are on? Are they comfortable?

I also dont really love either now!
What fits the Smart or casual long leg look for a stumpy person?

I like them. Had a pair similar in the 80's which I wore until they dropped off.

Normal sizing Roller
I've noticed a few people moaning about Ugg sizing (on normal boots), particularly with foot and ankle width and I really don't get it. I recently bought some Ugg Lavelle waterproof leather boots aswell, for winter doggy walks, so many review said to size up because they're so narrow and people claiming they still couldn't get their ankles in. Now, I have huge legs, too big for many wide calve boots, I sized up one size and can slip my feet and ankles in without undoing the zip and there's plenty of space between my and the inside top of the boots, could easily wear super chunky socks too. Heck knows what others were doing with them!!!!!

I quite like both (although they would be a bit too high for me) but I prefer the version without the shiny toes, as I think that very shiny finish can look a bit dated.

Ive received the pair with the patent toes which i am sending back.
Ridiculously comfy but it's too wide at the heels. And i think the shiny bits make them a little too 'posh' for me to use as an all round.
Others should arrive this week

They are great with everything - skirts, leggings, jeans, dresses...
