Just as title says - Im after a puffa jacket that will cover my backside....have looked through old messages but nothing comes up recently. Doesn't have to be Arctic warm and preferably waterproof.

I like this Zara one but would prefer a furry hood:

Also looked at North Face as its highly recommended but highly expensive.

Ive also looked on Debenhams website but I don't know the Tog24 brand.....is it any good?

Very appreciative of any recommendations.

I’ve got this one from Uniqlo. It’s lovely and warm.

I have the same as Wombling. Warm as toast and you can shove it in the washing machine and tumble dryer.

Ooh does it tumble? I’m glad you said as I’d never dared.

There was a M and S one mentioned yesterday on a thread. Long and lovely in black or red.

I have the joules cadellecott one. Very warm (too warm in this inbewteen weather). I like it and it has good reviews online.

wombling and/or verypuny. I'm wondering what the sizing is like on that uniqlo one. I'm a 16 with a lot of boob going on. Would I need an XXL do you think?

Are you tall? There's some v warm looking ones at Long Tall Sally at the moment.

I just got the Hobbs Liliana puffer in navy: it's possibly the most flattering puffer coat that I have ever found.

Hope this photo works...

Jaeger has some linger Ines with 20% discount at the moment.

No not very tall.

I like that Hobbs one and found some great ones on M&S after that tip (thanks) but have just stumbled across Dorothy Perkins who have so many that I can't decide. And they're all in the sale!

Any idea on quality etc???

Shinny, obviously biased here, but I don't think you can beat Hobbs for quality; I don't buy their clothing, but for coats and trench macs, they are really very good quality.

I know Hobbs isn't cheap, but you can often find a 20% discount code if you do a google; I got £35ish off that Liliana puffer coat about 2 weeks ago.

Sorry for late reply - I find Uniqlo sizing pretty accurate, maybe even a bit generous on the coat front, but I am very small of nork!

Try Barbour. I’ve got one that I wore all last winter, really warm but not too bulky. Goes to just above my knee.

I just picked up a Diane von furstenberg beauty from tk maxx (also on the website). £99 rrp £400. I got the olive but they also stock in navy. It is amazing. Warm, long, detachable fur hood. One of my best ever buys.

@ilovecherries I’m a 14 with biggish boobs and the XL is just right to get a jumper underneath, so if I were you I’d go for the XL if you just want a top under or the XXl if you want to be able to fit a big jumper in too.

I like the M and S burgundy one. I might buy that!
