I love these: www.clarks.co.uk/c/Taylor-Palm/p/26128232

But my questions - will they be freezing in the autumn even under thick black tights? And are metallic shoes a bit over now?

I'd wear them with cord and tweed skirts and floaty (but warm!) floral dresses - my wardrobe is mostly earth tones with added plum/burgundy.

I like! Brown or burgundy tights would look nice.

I bought them last week! I don't care whether or not metallic shoes are over - I love them. They're also incredibly comfortable - I wore them for the first time in London last week when the transport was all messed up because of the Parsons Green incident, so I ended up unexpectedly walking miles in them with no problem at all.

I guess they're dry weather shoes - soggy tights wouldn't be fun. I've worn mine with black and brown tights so far, and with floaty trousers and no socks on a warmer day.

I love them! I have them in silver and navy too. I've never worn them with tights but I may try. I've tended to wear in spring with skinny jeans but you've inspired me to try them with a dress! They are super comfy!

They look lovely but I think they are definitely for dry spring and autumn days only - they leave a lot of foot exposed.

I've worn the rose gold ones all summer & am sad to retire them for the winter Hmm

I tried them on in the shop and they felt flimsy, did not buy them in the end

I've got them in black - bought a while ago. They are my go-to work shoes for when I am at conferences and exhibitions where I'm on my feet all day. They look smart but are supremely comfortable - and very practical with the strap across the foot because you can move quickly if you need to without them sliding off your feet like ballet flats do.

I'm definitely going to get them in the copper when I get paid again.
