I was just in Lidl this morning so had a look at the clothes and bags. All look ok ish for the price. The handbags look nice too.

I particularly liked a block colour coatigan - might head back for it.

Here is the link

Bought a dress and very happy with it. Saw similar fabric and cut in M&S with those horrid sleeves. At about 30% more. So I am happy with my purchase. Now regret not buying another one in the same size and colour and the blue one. It would work very well with capsule wardrobe and I can dress it up or down. Let's hope something is left for me when I visit this evening. Smile

I wish they had put a low heel option in the shoes because the designs and make was quite good but heel too high for me. I would have bought them definitely if heel height was a bit lower. I think another collection of hers is coming in the first week of December and I will keep my fingers crossed.

Who knew HK was a secret MNer - a whole collection inspired by the Mumsnet scarf...!

I really like the cream jumper and the dress, very good value for money.

There seemed to be more in store than shown on the website.

However I was with DH so didnt get as much time to look as I would usually.

The jeans are great btw, not particularly hk, but good basic skinny jeans, in general Lidl jeans last longer than gap ones....

Just posted on the other thread. I bought a size 12 pair of jeans for my size 10/12 DD. She could get them past her knees.

How were the sizes next to other stores?

Report
Valentine2 · 19/09/2017 20:14

The sizes are comparable to M&S I would say. At least their 12 is the 12 of M&S and same goes for 14.
Did I mention I got two more of those dresses? 💪🏻Halo

I love Lidl clothes. The blue Heidi Klum dress made its way home with me yesterday and will be a cert for Christmas parties! £12! I liked the sequin blazer too but they didn't have it in my size.

Tbh their clothes are generally really nice quality and their shoes too. I had some geometric pumps from there In the summer and wore them to death. They cost 5.99!

Well I took a risk on them being in stock still this evening. There were loads left.
Such a mixed bag of sizes I felt. The suede jacket sizes were much smaller than most shops (but thus would have been great had the colour suited me) but the blazer was significantly larger and longer. As said upthread the jeans may be more authentically sized for a decade ago but far smaller than most shops these days. Lots of it felt as cheap as the prices apart from a few pieces.

I didn't like it when I saw it, all looked a bit cheap/tatty except for the leopard print top but they only had 8 or 18's in my shop 🙄

I think they are good value for money. You can't expect them to be silk and all that at this price surely?
They aren't for everyone really. More like a capsule wardrobe kind of thing I think. So you willhave to dress them u or down as you feel appropriate. That's why I got neutral only.
