I am officially peri menopausal and as moody AF!! Spent the weekend looking for a new foundation and went for this Clinique CC cream. I'm not sure if it's too orange. Is there any make up which will with stand the rigours of a hot flush? Also I'm looking for advice on what to do with the deep trough running down either side of my nose to the corner of my mouth. In fact. Any anti aging tips are welcome. I'm feeling really old and haggard at the minute.

Mineral powder foundation such as Lily Lola or Bare Minerals may be more able to withstand a hit flush as it wouldn't run.
In terms of naso labial lines the best things to do are drink 2 litres water a day, put on half a stone if you are normal to underweight, cheek plumping facial massage (google on YouTube, loads of techniques) and a good plumping lightweight moisturiser- look for sodium hyaluronate in ingredients.
If you want to get more invasive, then radiofrequency skin tightening helps to plump up cheeks and lifts the nose mouth lines, Juvederm Voluma filler in cheeks does the same thing. Don't get filler in the line itself - this does nothing to lift the face and can make the area look more heavy. Some Botox practitioners, but not all, can cleverly place Botox to lift the side of mouth/cheek.
Cosmetically, a light coloured, light textured wand concealer in the nose mouth line could help too.
Exercise 20 mins a day too - anything to get you a little sweaty - will help with mood swings too.
Don't worry, we're all battling the same problems - you just need to find the right weapons!

Nasal folds- only fillers will make any real difference.

Hot flushes- HRT. Why suffer?

Oh sweetheart, you look lovely - those are not bad naso labial lines at all!
think you would benefit from lifting treatment - so upward lymphatic drainage type massage morning and evening when you cleanse focusing on your jaw and cheeks and seriously look into radiofrequency tightening - you would get amazing results from it. If you didn't want a salon treatment, then check out at home devices like Tua Viso or Dermawand - I like Dermawand best.
Some people swear by Caci but I don't have experience of it personally.
Skincare to be honest can't do an awful amount to fight gravity but just make sure you use a non foaming balm type cleanser, an exfoliating toner, a serum contain hyaluronic acid and then an SPF day moisturiser and a night moisturiser that contains retinol. Your skin texture and tone look good - the CC cream doesn't look orange at all.

Sorry meant to say that the brand of skincare is relatively irrelevant - it's more about the ingredients. A lot of premium skincare make ridiculous claims with unproven ingredients and charge £££ for them.

Thanks for that! I will look up those home systems. I'd consider a non invasive treatment at this point. I have young kids and starting to feel like the oldest mum in the villiage.

I do face exercises and they seem to be working. Other than that I use water wipes which exfoliate as well as clean and I use rosehip blended with about 7 other oils. Works for me and am now through the menopause. Skin is glowy and good. I try to eat about 10 plus portions of fruit and veg, nuts, oils, salads, fish, meat and little dark chocolate but no dairy at all. Think you have to find what works for you.

The Aldi caviar stuff just £7 day/night cream and serum is amazing - I'm 47 and fairly good skin but after a week of using it my skin is th best it's been in years.
