Decent low budget facial moisturiser

Evvy543 · 07/11/2016 11:07

With the weather being colder, my skin is slightly peeling.
I have tried simple rich moisturiser and that's just disappearing on my skin.
Can anyone suggest a good quality moisturiser preferably under £10.

I use the aldi q10 moisturiser. It doesn't suit everyone but its good for me. The soy one is good too but quite perfumed.

I really like CeraVe which I think I under budget. Other wise Nivea blue pot?

I like the Aldi one too. Less than £5 I'm sure, smells nice and isn't greasy.

This is nice, not greasy and no smell, fine under makeup or on its own. Even better when it's on 3for2 or you get a £3 off voucher from buying other items in store first.

Aldi caviar,it's really good. I bought some serum this week too which I hadn't seen before it's nice but is black which was a bit odd!

I've been using this Bravura one for the past few months and it's very good, sinks right in without feeling greasy.

Lidl Cien anti wrinkle. £1.99! Best I've ever used for winter.

I swear my Nivea q10. It leaves my skin feeling moisturised and bright. I've been using it for years and people are shocked when they realise I'm much older than they think I am ;)

I like CeraVe too, and use both the night and day creams. Day one is SPF30.

Nivea Q10 is great and more often than not is on offer for £5.

Nivea Soft is good if it suits your skin. Mine is very dry and I use it day and night.

Aldi Caviar is very heavily scented which means it's been relegated to body lotion. La Roche Posay Toleriane line has lotions and creams which are slightly over budget (circa £11) but often on 3 for 2 at boots so long term would be perfect.

I am however planning to try cerave next as it's got such good reviews and I like to spend my money on serums and the like as they are more fun!

Nivea soft here too

I buy Clinique or Clarins sometimes but always end up back with Nivea soft

I'd try the Aldi one. The q10 is about £2 I think so if you don't like it you've not lost much. I love it. The caviar one is £6.99 I think.

Ziaja. Polish brand, a tub of moisturiser is about 4-5 euro.

I've used the goat's milk one and the phytoactive one. The goat's milk one is esp good for dry skin. I use fancier stuff for serums and so on but for just the final layer I go simple and cheap!

Have a look inTK Max. They have some really nice brands in there that are cruelty free.

I can't do perfume and none of the perfume-free commercial brands suit my skin.
So I started using E45 super hydration lotion - it's the one with the red lid.
It's body lotion but a big bottle is £6 and lasts for months. I use it twice a day. No difference to normal moisturiser.

Another Nivea q10 fan here. I used the tinted version so that's my make up done in one go Grin

Or try 'the little green cream company' they do mail order - their cream is lovely and not too expensive.

Nivea creme in the blue pot is amazing for dry skin and cheap as chips. I also like steam cream which I get in the discount beauty shop (I think it's called beauty outlet) for a fiver.

I have used loads of high end moisturisers and do you know what? I prefer Aldi's Caviar day and night cream.

I use No7 essential day cream and night cream. You can quite often get them on a 3for2 deal as well.
