Are you boycotting Arcadia?

After watching the Philip Green Panorama I'm thinking of boycotting his companies. Awful corrupt man and I don't want him to have a penny more of my business (not that I shop much at his places anyway).

Just wondered if anyone else was doing the same?

Yes I am as he's the reason I'm reluctantly redundant!

Yip. He should be in prison.

Didn't watch the Panorama show tell me more?

I am. Have been since BHS too. I didn't buy much in DP and Topshop anyway, but stride by now.

Yes. I have been since the tax debacle a while ago. Haven't seen the Panorama though...

I just watched the programme. Despicable man.

Yup, BHS was the final straw. I know most of fashion is a pretty shoddy business but I can't bear the thought of that man ever getting another penny out of me.

I had stopped buying in DP & Wallis even when we were getting the staff discount as I think all the stuff had got a bit naff over the last 2/3 years. I can't see them lasting much longer tbh he only seems to be interested in Top Shop

No, why would putting more jobs in jeopardy be a good thing?

Yes. Was an occasional DP shopper- no way now.

Without even trying. Do any of those stores sell any natural fibres at all?

ImYourWomanJonSnow · 22/10/2016 06:21

Callar if only it were that simple. People's jobs were gone because of corporate greed, it had nothing to do with turnover and sales and all to do with asset stripping.

Yes. I'd just rediscovered Top Shop but can't bear the idea of funding his next yacht.

CALLAR - the people who have jobs in those stores need a management/ownership structure which won't steal their pension fund and asset strip until the only willing buyer is a dodgy bankrupt happy to be the fall guy for 'Sir' Shitty Green.
Act now to boycott strongly and maybe he'll sell while he can get a return.
Would love to see him in prison but he's so greasy he'd slip between the bars.

Yep i will boycott, just more people would to show them the strength of feeling the public havr over bhs and the great pension rip off.

I think jobs will be in jeopardy for as long as he and his non-tax paying wife are at the helm.

I would however like to distance myself from any death wishes.

Yes because

  1. he's a wanker and
  2. everything in there is overpriced for the quality
