Anyone else's face addicted to Nip & Fab pads?

I've been using Nip & Fab dragon's blood & Glycolic fix pads on my face most days for the past 7 months.

I've noticed that when I run out and can't get any for a few days or week....my skin goes to shit. Not spotty, just dull and lifeless. A couple of days of dragon's blood and it's back to its glowy self.

Not sure I'm entirely comfortable with my skin being so dependant / addicted to something so have slowed it down and now only use them every other day or so (boo)

Anyone else?

My face is a hussy so I have lots of different acid toners, but I do use them twice a day, every day. I only skip them if I've used a resurfacing mask or strong clay mask.

Ooh this interesting! I have similar feelings about liquid gold. But I was thinking that my skin reverts to being shit if I slack off, that it is only providing temporary glowyness. I think it's good to mix it up as your skin does get used to stuff. I really like the nip and fab stuff. What resurfacing masks do you use/ recommend Nabootique?

I like them too but am out at the moment. Does anyone know whether they're on offer anywhere?

Yes!

I ran out for about a month and my skin went to absolute shit. It was dry and patchy and just not nice.

When I'm using the Glycolic Fix pads once a day my skin is fantastic. Won't be without them again!

The nip and fab pads were on special in boots. Bogohp.

We love the acid ones.

Not sure if the offer is still on?

I usually use the Peter Thomas Roth Pumpkin Enzyme Mask kate, but the Oskia Renaissance Mask is nice too, and more gentle.

If I didn't acid tone then my skin would look dull and I'd have congestion and texture, and probably flakiness too. It's just about exfoliating. Your skin isn't really dependent on a particular product, but it will look much, much better when exfoliated.

I like the extreme glycolic ones but only once or twice a week as my thin skin goes into sensitivity overdrive if I use more frequently (blotchy, dry, spotty).

I used to get on very well with them and be able to use every other day (about 6mo ago?) but I wonder if I'm not as tolerant of glycolic as I was? Maybe I should move to lactic / a more gentle acid option. I haven't changed my beauty regime, diet or meds recently and the flare ups do seem to be after glycolic use, so I think I'll look at an alternative once I've finished this tub.

DH likes them, they are great for preventing ingrown beard rash, so I can always find a home for the extra tubs I've got squirrelled away (from BOGOFs).

I've been using them for a few months and raving about them! My skin looks and feels better. No plans to stop using any time soon!

I have a sample of the Oskia Renaissance mask from my beauty box. It's incredibly thick and sticky. I love the smell and the consistency but I have no idea how to use it?

It feels like it should be a nourishing mask, not an acid peel.

I bought two tubs of Nip and Fab wipes when my feet were particularly grim. I'm too frightened to use them on my face, I have pale, dry skin.

So I keep them in my office and use them to clean my desk and keyboard :)

You use it like a mask Morris, but it has fruit enzymes in (AHA) so will exfoliate too.

Tesco had Nip and Fab products on half price this week. I bought some of the pads on Tuesday for £6.50

I am a fan of the pads as well, I don't use them every day as I have a few acid products that I use and switch them up but the nip and fab pads are one of those products I always have to have in!

Superdrug has most of the Nip and Fab range half price at the minute. Have stocked up on the glycolic face wash which I love! Any spots I have just seem to fade away with using it Smile

Is the glycolic face wash drying at all?

I've been using the Nip and Fab glycolic face wash with a Clarisonic (sensitive brush) for a few weeks now.

Skin looks the best it has for months. So pleased!

George, my skin is quite dry in patches, plus it's winter here, but have had no probs at all.

Right, that's it. I've seen too many people recommend the Dragon's Blood pads now, I'm going to buy some!

I love the Glycolic Fix cleanser. I've tried loads of others, many of which were much more expensive, but always go back to that one. You can usually pick it up in Boots for a song, too!

I bought the glycolic fix pads for some scars/ hyper pigmentation on my body and think they've helped a little. Used them on my face but they give me really dry skin under my eyes. Really annoying, never had dry skin there before and ended up needing hydrocortisone cream to clear it up.

I must be the exception the rule, everyone else seems to love them Blush

George I have quite dry skin but it doesn't seem to dry it out at all.

Koala agreed! I use it with my Foreo Luna, they seem to work really well together!

I have the glycolic super strength fix pads. The jury is still out. Not sure they are making a huge difference to my skin tbh.
How often does everyone use them? It says for about 3 nights in one week. Does anyone use them daily?

Oh my god what are you all talking about? Whatever it is I need them/it! I've never seen such rave reviews! I've been trying to take my skincare to a whole new level but I don't know where to start and I need a kick start on my lifeless looking skin. Short of dermabrasion, is this stuff you're talking about the answer?

I've tired skin after two babies and not much sleep. I need rejuvenating!

Have wasted money (but more so the time) on crappy clay masks and OTC cleansers that haven't made any difference.

My Clinique scrub is helping but more help would be great!
