In need of stylish and comfy wellies

I'm tall, with slim legs and big feet.
Usually wear insoles for recurring PF.
Google suggest Le Chameau or Hunters. Preferably navy, definitely nothing too zingy.
Any recommendations? I've got a healthy budget if they're really comfy.

Hunters.

I looove mine. Have entirely too many pairs for one person to justify.

I've got ones by dirtboots. They have neoprene tops so are really comfy to walk in. You don't get that calf ache you normally get in wellies. They're probably more comfort than style though. I'd go Hunters for style.

I have hunters. They last forever.

Sounds like I need Hunters. They do a Tall range, glossy yes or no?
Do I need neoprene lining?

Thanks for the advice.

Imo Le Chameau wear much better and are more comfortable ( seem to mould better to the shape of the foot) than hunters.

Hunters are dreadful quality now so if you need them for actual mud / country pursuits, go le chameux ( or a cheaper brand like Dunlop).

I have hunters and they are so comfy to say they are wellies. Love them!

I have bouts of PF and walking in wellies can be awful, but unavoidable for me, this year I'm trying Ariat storm stopper (in blue and brown) with memory foam insoles. So far so good! They are kind of big though.

I've went with these over wellies 3 years ago. Warm, dry and incredibly comfy - I've walked miles in them.

Hunters are very poor quality, mine leaked after 6 months of very occasional wear.
With the arrival of my dog I got some Aigle Paucours Iso 2 and they are a great fit - feet don't slip out, they're neoprene lined so very warm, even in the snow and they are anti fatigue so walking long distance is less turing on your calf muscles. Chameau looked good to but they didn't fit my feet as well as the Aigles.

Thanks so much for the advice. I'll have a look at all the recommendations.
These boots need to be smart for one occasion but the rest of the time they'll be worn for muddy walks.

I have toggi Quebec boots. They're fab. Bought them in favour of hunters last year. Warm waterproof and smarter looking than wellies.

I've had my hunters for 6 years. I walk my dog in them every day and ride in them a lot too. No leaks here. They look old now but after 6 years that's acceptable I think.

My hunters started leaking after two weeks of occasional use. Never again. I use Swedish brand Teflon now

After lots of searching I've ordered these
https://www.lechameau.com/gb/giverny-jersey-boot.html

They appear good for long legs and thin feet. Will report back when they arrive.

They are very lovely :) I have 'midnight sparkle' hunters that have lasted for ever but have also heard more recently that the quality has dropped so I think you've made a good choice!

I got hunters in December 2011 so have worn them for 5 winters and the odd time throughout the year and they are still fine. Strange.

Like the ones you chose. I have navy Barbour ones. Love them because I have skinny long legs and they are a good fit and go all the way up to my knees.

I have Ilse Jacobsen. Love 'em. Withstood Scandinavian winter very well.

I tried them but they didn't suit my feet - too baggy.

I meant the Isle Jacobsen's were too baggy
