Has anyone tried the VB Estée Lauder make-up range? Looks pretty expensive. The only reviews I can see online are all from people with loads of freebies oohing and aahing, but it would be interesting to hear what real people think.

No selfridges near me, so can't see in the flesh.

Bumping as I'm interested too!

I adore VB so was planning to invest in something but I'm a bit disappointed by what I've seen online and a bit Shock at the prices. I don't need another red lipstick, her colour of nude lipstick will be very wrong on me, I'm all good for eyeliner and I cant' bring myself so pay £38 for a single eye shadow! I haven't seen anything in the flesh either but sadly I think I'll be giving it a miss

I like Estee Lauder lipsticks but they're normally around the £25 mark. The VB ones are £35. I just can't imagine they're worth the extra tenner.

Plus nude lipstick? No way José!

squoosh, I'm tempted by the Pure Colour Envy lipsticks from Estee Lauder. Would you say they are worth the money? I need a lipstick that is non drying, non bleeding and with good pigment and would pay £25 if its worth it

It all looks incredibly average.

And stupidly ££. As a make-up artist I've never once looked at VB and admired her makeup or her makeup skills so am rather sceptical about the whole thing.

I like VB's polished look and her clothes, hence my interest. Personally I like the sound of the Morning Aura primer as I like anything glowy and radiance boosting but it's too expensive for me at £68 despite the nice packaging - I'll stick with Kevin Aucoin Celestial Skin. Am also interested (boringly) in the lip liner and the kajal. If I make it to Selfridges any time soon I'm certainly going to have a nose and I'll report back.

They pretty much fit that brief Lotta! Good pigmentation, don't dry my lips and last pretty well. I've never had a problem with lipsticks bleeding on me so I can't comment on that one. I tend to use a lip liner though so maybe that guards against that.

Am I the only fool that bought into the whole Victoria beckham x Estée Lauder? I know just couldn't help myself
The nude lipstick is lovely nothing earth shattering or could be duped but it's lovely to wear a nice formula

Lip liner I really like doesn't drag on my lips nice consistency and I do wear lots of nude lipsticks so that's how I'm justifying it to myself

Lip gloss clicky pen give it a miss not great quality plus I really dislike the smell off it have had better glosses at less than half the price not a great formula it puckers on my lips like I've used to much even with the smallest amount

I make no apologies for the highlighter it's beautiful and the compact is soo pretty😊 And weighty and has a satisfying click and I really love it! But I'm a self confessed highlighter hoarder. This is my favourite Standout item

Lastly I also bought the morning Aura primer it looks absolutely beautiful a lovely product and it does indeed make my cheekbones look lovely and dewy but so does my Tom ford primer.
I am sure you could get the glow from other less expensive products like a cream highlighter for example but it's all about buying into the madness of luxury makeup and how it makes you feel, some people do and some people don't. My only regret is the lipgloss I'm very happy with everything else. I didn't buy any of the eye shadows beautiful as they look I just couldn't justify paying so much for a shadow I would probably only use once in a blue moon.

It looks quite warm toned online. Is it in real life?

VB had warm toned skin so I wouldn't be surprised. Im, er, not so warm Smile so probably another reason to give it a swerve

Celeb endorsements generally put me off - esp VB as her makeup often looks really awful.

I think she looks nice although I don't see many pics to be fair. I like that polished look. I probably would've bought something just as it's new but none of it will suit my cool to neutral colouring.

Ruth Crilly AKA amodelrecommends did a video on the collection which is pretty thorough.

VB has the worst make-up of any celebrity. Every time I see a photo of her I'm dying to whip out my prefect's badge and take her to the cloakrooms to scrub her face.

Not to mention her awful posture and wet weekend facial expression. Everything about her signals insecurity.
