What's good from Avon?

A friend has just become an Avon rep and her and loads of other friends keep banging on about how good the stuff is. How good is it really? If there's anything worth trying, I'd like to support her. Any recommendations? I'm mid 30s with dry skin so always on the look out for hydrating and anti-ageing products. I'd ask her, but I'm never sure if what she says is because she means it or because she's trying to sell it.

Avon anew cream is amazing, especially the eye cream. I have been using the 25+ one since February and my skin is tighter and clear

NOTHING- seeing as how they have recently started testing on animals again and haven't informed their customers! I love Avon stuff but am out of their target group until they fix this and make a hefty donation to charity.

Is that so Fanny? I'll have to look further into that. A friend gave me a list of which brands do or don't test, but I admit I hadn't checked. I'd been thinking that I'd no longer use those tested on animals, but move over to the cruelty free brands.

Glimmersticks eyeliners are great. Also love their room & linen sprays.

The body spritzes are lovely, especially the sugar plum one 😊
Tried the blue shower gel and the grape kids bubble bath and they both smelled like toilet cleaner. Seems a bit hit and miss to me!

The fragrances are often good and excellent prices.

I recommend:
Avon Perceive Oasis- smells like Chloe, only lighter.
Soft Musk- a good classic musk
Tahitian Holiday- a little bit like Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess but more coconuts and less sandalwood
Avon Cherish- has a caramel note, like la Vie est Belle
Little Black Dress- a classic everyday light floral.

I also really like the room spritzes as they don't make my chest tight like other air fresheners do. Lavender is especially good.

I also like the glycerine hand cream and I've been using the bubble bath since the 70s!

Their Hair stuff is good. I like Anew and the makeup is good value
The only thing I didn't like was the nail varnish

fanny agree. Nothing. It's all cheap and poor quality and not cruelty free. The jewelry is crap. Unless you're a teenager I just can't see the attraction to Avon.

I love the kids lavender night time bubble bath and body cream. Smells lovely. Soaps, hand creams, anew mousturiser, face wash are also all good. Coming up to Christmas they have lots of good gift ideas too.
