Make-up to take on holiday, CC cream/BB Cream/lighter foundation?

We're going to Greece in the summer. I like to use make up on holiday but wouldn't plan to do my usual probably excessive full face routine for the evenings. I won't be wearing much in the daytime apart from a lipgloss probably. Has anyone found a glowy, medium-full coverage product that doesn't feel too heavy on the skin and won't upset oily skin? I fear such a thing doesn't exist!

You will tan almost up immediately so everything you take will be too light.
However CC creams are most forgiving with colour.
Last year in Greece I wore bourjois CC cream and bronzer over that if it was too light.
After a few days my face was tanned enough to get away with just wearing after sun in the evenings, mascara and lippy.

This is a fab product! I use Estée Lauder double wear foundation daily for work but for holidays and weekends this is the base I always use.

Apply with a damp foundation sponge applicator and the coverage is fantastic, however you feel like you have nothing on your skin at all. Highly recommended!

Absolutely is the pic below the one you used? If so I will definitely try that out Smile it's a bargain!

Oneday thanks for that. Sounds like the holy grail after all. Do you know which shops might stock it to try shades out?

Sorry one day I just read the description properly and it says about the shades! Doh!

I buy online but believe they sell in Debenhams OP. It is weird that there is no shade matching - but it absolutely works!

Yes that's the one I used.

You could also try bourjois city radiance which wasn't out last year which blends nicely even once your skin tone has changed a bit, it is sheer but still has great coverage.

As a side note Greece was really hot whilst we were out there and Riemanns P30 sun factor was brilliant as it stays on all day, particularly good for kids in and out of the water all day. Really good anyway for the first few days at least as it really protects your skin.

And because it's an oil it stops your skin drying out so no peeling etc.

Absolutely funnily enough, I have been planning to get City Radiance to try for summer here, luckily I have a load of Boots points so I'm glad I've found some good suggestions from high street shops Smile.

Thanks for P30 recommendation I will definitely get that as I do burn if I'm not careful.

With CR foundation do you reckon a primer is necessary for oily skin? I use Smashbox photo finish usually.

And take an oil for your hair or at least put conditioner in it when going in the pool or sea, my hair actually started breaking off last year because I jumped into the pool with bone dry hair and it immediately soaked up the chlorine Shock
We want you looking as gorgeous as possible Grin

Thanks absolutely I am going to take all those tips. It is my first holiday post-baby and my body is far from what it was so I need all the body/beauty confidence I can get!
