A pretty but practical rucksack?

I'm after a bag to fill with baby crap that I can use for DS stuff when I carry him in the ergo. I would like a feminine one that looks nice rather than a sports one. I'm happy to spend around £50, any suggestions? Not Cath Kidson please...I don't like it when everyone has the same stuff!

Depends what you like, but I saw a bronze metallic one in Accessorize the other day, quite roomy, and £35. I'd have bought it, but it doesn't go with the rest of my wardrobe. They had a few nice ones, worth checking.

another vote for Kanken - utilitarian style but broad range of colours - some are even pretty :)

Are there different sizes of Kanken? Is the 16L for an adult or can an adult wear any size?

Hmm I'm not sure on the Kanken, it looks a bit...boxey? Not sure if that's the right word. It definitely looks to be the sort of quality I'm looking for though. Maybe I'll need to try and see one in the flesh. Any other suggestions? Thanks for the help so far!

Paperchase has some interesting designs, but I don't know how hardwearing they are.

I've a few kipling ones, and I know they are a bit like marmite you either love or hate them. But they are very hard-wearing and nice and light and very strong

I love love my Kanken. It is boxy and practical over pretty perhaps but currently using it as a baby change bag and finding it great. I had great issues choosing which colour...

I had a lovely looking mi pac one, but it fell apart after only about 2 months daily use. I wouldn't recommend them for that reason.

I have a Leopard print (subtle green thing) Vans rucksack.

It's great - was about £30 from ASOS

Eastpac bags last for ages and come in a range of colours. They are very robust. The only thing that bothered me was the absence of an inside pocket. So if you're not taking another bag (handbag) out too, you either keep your purse and phone in the main compartment with all the nappies etc, or you keep it in the outside pocket where pickpockets can have a field day...

Kanken Classic is the perfect size for a nappy bag for one hold, IMO. You can easily fit plenty of nappies and wipes plus change of clothes, snacks and wallet, phone etc. I now have two kids and can just about get in everything needed for them both but thinking of upgrading to the Big version once the baby starts weaning.
