I have mild rosacea which isn't too bad and I get painful spots round my jawline. They're not squeezable but they hurt. My skincare routine is very very basic - I swim 5 times a week so it's just a rub with shower gel after that, and on non-swimming days I use a cheap face wash cream and hot cloth. Then a bit of Nivea Soft. I don't wear makeup so don't bother washing before bed (life's too short and I spend 12 hours a week well maintained swimming pools so figure that's enough for my poor skin!)
I've been given antibiotics for my face in the past but because they take a few months to work and make your skin much more sensitive to the sun I don't use them as it's always either going to be summer or we have an Autumn holiday on the horizon and I don't want to burn.
What with Mother's Day there seem to be a lot of fancy moisturisers about at the moment and I wondered if any of them would help? Presumably not an acid one if my skin's dry to begin with, but I don't really know where to start.
I used to use Boots Protect and Perfect which I think did help with little wrinkles but I kept forgetting to put it on.
Any thoughts??

Tell me about moisturisers that would help my dry skin with sore spots?
