Love these - in theory £50 but got a discount of course. Snug, stretchy and thick

Agree OP they are brilliant jeans! I got two pairs ridiculously cheap in the sale and I live in them!

Oooh-they sound fab! Have you got a link? Are they jeans or trousers?

Might they fit a size 12 with hips but really skinny legs?!

JackandDiane · 25/01/2016 15:15

I'll look when I get home. So snug at top of thighs and waist

I too. Very skinny legs. Hips. Short waist. Gap is my go to for jeans but haven't been there for ages.

I have the resolution slim straight. They are indeed ver good. They seek out sometimes tho. Must look now, need to replace my beloved black jeans.

I am after new jeans...can someone help me with a wee hijack to ask about Gap sizing?

I am a 10 long in jeans/trousers from M and S, Boden and Asda.

What the feckery would I want in Gap? Am in forrin land so shop online!

Because looking on the website they go 24 26 etc, then it says model is 5ft 9 and wearing a size 4! Eh? Confused

AppleSetsSail · 26/01/2016 10:54

LOVE THEM.

Later try a 27.

Oh yes they are fab and come in TALL for us giraffes Grin

ThenLaterWhenItGotDark · 26/01/2016 11:01

Oh excellent (5ft 10and half) I'm going to give them a go. Thanks!

Tall only online Later but they are actually a decent length rather than the pathetic 33" most shops market as 'long'.

ThenLater If you're normally a 10 you'd want a Gap 6 or a 28 depending how it's sized. They have a really good size guide on the website if you can be arsed to measure yourself in detail!

They are great. I'm a 12 but wear a size 26 in these. I tend to stock up when they have an offer as although they are fab, I have found they don't last (maybe 6 months before they start to lose shape, go slightly baggy) and regularly need to be replaced. Whereas my Paige Jeans (albeit a lot more ££) just keep going.

Hijacking to ask what size would I be, I am looking to replace too shop Jamie jeans, are these similar? I love them but they go out of shame too quickly. Anyway I am an 8/26 in topshop jeans. Same in h&m. What would that be? Thanks!

I bought a pair in the Sale - marked down to £19.99. The assistant refused to honour the price, as she said it must have been marked down by mistake, unless I could "find an identical pair also marked down". Angry I wasn't going to let that one go, so I hunted until I found another pair.

Yes, they are fab. Stretchy and thick. I'm a 10-12 and the 28 fits well (I could possibly have fitted into a 27, but it might have been a little too skinny).

I'd guess 25.

I have two pairs on rotation - they are almost as cozy as my gray and white polka dot Gap leggings of which I bought 8 pairs on sale, oh yes I did.

We should also give praise for Gap cashmere I think.

How are these on the waist? I can't be doing with any of this 'low-rise' nonsense...

Report
Termsandconditions · 26/01/2016 13:30

Mid-high waist on me. V good denim.

I'm looking on the website, is it the 1969 ones that are good?

Report
lurkingabit · 26/01/2016 13:38

It says'resolution' in the name. Might say 1969 too. But what you want is 'resolution'
