My friend has surprised me with a trip to a mega bucks hotel in Ibiza soon.
Its a full on club hotel with DJ's etc.
I must admit i am a bit scared.Grin

I don't own a "clubby" wardrobe and cant spend much to not look like a mum of 3 on a mad holiday.

I'm a size 10/12 and have been working out so I hopefully don't wobble too much.

where do i start?
please help!

Whereabouts are you going? I went last year with my friend as a 40th birthday treat. We stayed in Ibiza Town, and I loved it!Smile

We went to Pacha on a big night. I found most people were fairly dressed down. In fact the ones who turned up in full on club wear stuck out like anything! But it's pretty much anything goes really. I took shorts, denim mini, hareem pants, a plain black jersey jumpsuit, vests, flip flops and metallic gladiator sandals. A couple of statement necklaces and a kimono jacket helped to dress up day outfits for nights out.

I wouldn't bother with heels, didn't see anyone wear them.

Forgot to add, there are some amazing boutiques in Ibiza Town too, so you can always pick a few bits and accessories up. Have a lovely time!

People don't wear very much iirc! A girl was wearing the same vest top that I was wearing last year, although she was wearing it as a dress Grin.

I'd just go for basics in loose fabrics, in bright colours that would go with a tan.
Maybe a bit of a fringed cross body bag to bring up to date. Or pom pom edging.
Definitely some smart maybe gold/metallic thong sandals.
Gold string necklaces (Asda s good and cheap).
Straw hat.

New Look orange tshirt
New Look tassel dress

Asda tunic I actually love this and have just ordered it.

Have an ace time, I'm jealous!

I'm thinking of getting this in the above link.
I did buy a long blue dress off of Amazon last year and the quality is great.

That's a lovely colour, and looks easy to wear.

You need to feel comfortable and yourself in whatever you choose.

Yes to wearing something you feel relaxed in. It does get very hot and sweaty in the big clubs, so stick to natural fabrics and something you feel cool in. Maybe leave the maxi for daytime or dining out?

Pretty much anything goes in Ibiza, no-one will raise an eyebrow at you looking a bit mumsy. Grin

I'm liking the idea of thong type sandals.
I currently only have flip flops and well old Birkenstocks!

any links, ideas?
