Eyebrows! Anyone an expert in 'filling' them"?

My eyebrows have become really sparse to non-existent at the inner ends, beside my nose. I'm not very good at getting the shape right with my pencil - its impossible to get the same shape to each brow. Am using a Shavata pencil at the moment and trying not to be too heavy handed. Have tried eyeshadow applied with a brush but it's usually gone after a couple of hours! Any tips please?

I have really sparse eyebrows too (over plucking in my teens/20s)
The best pencil I have found is a ybf (Your Best Friend) on QVC.
The colour suits me (it's a dark sable so I don't know if it would suit all, but it's much more flattering than any other I've tried)
I've tried a liquid pen type and the Benefit in a tiny mascara style wand.(Gimme Brow)

You might be better with a wax type (I think Brow-Zing from Benefit).

You need to put a tiny mark above your brow above your pupil - that's the highest point of the arch. Then hold it beside your nostril and the corner of your eye- that's the centre edge, then from your nostril to the outer corner of your eye to give the outer edge.

And practice small light strokes , build up, then brush through (try a clear mascara)

I use a pencil to do the outline, smooth my brows down with vaseline then apply powder. It lasts all day.

Anastasia brow pomade is really good, totally smudge proof and waterproof but application takes a bit of getting used to as you need to be quite light handed unless you like a power brow. I've read good thing about their pencils as well but not tried.

I bought templates off amazon and an eyeshadow powder, they're fab and cheap. Lasts all day and through swimming.

Highly recommend and they're really cheap, usually get a few different sizes of stencils so you can pick which suits you best.

I have some plastic eyebrow templates that feel odd at first to use but are brilliant (I got mine from my threader but am sure you can buy them on line) I use a brown eyeshadow with a brush on top and they look very natural and the same as each other.

The Mac liquid eyebrow pot and slanted brush are excellent once you get the hang of it.

The most natural looking eyebrow pencil I've tried is Kevyn Aucoin (available at Space NK) Not cheap but brilliant. It looks like you won't be able to see it but builds up well and is great for a novice user and a natural look.

Anastasia dip brow is what most of the you tubers in watch use to fill in their brows, I will be treating myself after Xmas.

Have you had them tinted? When I get mine done they look defined but still faded, really nice but only lasts a few days.

In between I use pencil or powder with a fine angled brush that I wet.

Fcuk - nope no tinting. The thing is my eyebrows are pretty good but it's as though the inner maybe 0.5cm length has gone bald - for want of a better expression! One side more so than the other. So I just need to recreate that inner piece and the rest don't need much though I put a little pencil through them just to ensure the colour is consistent IYSWIM. Will check out the Anastasia dip brow you mentioned. Can you recommend a you Tiber to watch?

This is a pic of my brows when I've had them threaded and tinted. You see the inner bit where they look defined but not blocky? Mine are ao sparse there but she manages to make them look fuller but in a natural way.

I watch jaclyn hill on YouTube, and follow Huda beauty on Instagram. But have to limit myself or I waste hours watching beauty videos and running up big online baskets of make up

I use Benefit Brow-Zings and I love it, you just have to make sure you get the right shade (I use light). It's worth visiting the counter to get them to do it just so you can see whether it suits before you buy.

I use Brow-zings too. I find it easier to use than pencils and it seems to stay longer than other things I've used because of the combination of wax and powder

Go somewhere that offers 'hd brows, your eyebrows will be completely sorted and they can show you how to fill them in, shape lasts ages too

For a more permanent solution, have you thought about trying Rapidbrow? Very good for growing back those sparse bits of brows.

Aldi (yes really!) do a great eyebrow pencil with brush and sharpener included. Light shades too.

I also rate Rimmel's pencil.

Body Shop used to do a great powder combo in a mirrored compact with brush but it may have been discontinued.

Armani Eye Maestro is a gel/powder/liner in a pot which is multi use and comes with a double ended brush (flat brush and mascara type comb). It gives a very natural finish

I'd suggest getting them tinted. Have gone for black / brown and tbh the overall effect is not a statement and doesn't look like I've done anything, but looks miles better than my natural one. (Over-plucked and gone patchy.)

Have a look at Lisa Elridge make up tutorials on YouTube. The big mistake made is to have them far too heavy next to the nose, so they look like wedges/tadpoles/ sperm.

Start to apply the powder in the middle at the arch, and move out to the ends, and then with the same brush and no new powder do the start, next to your nose.
Light feathery strokes, and stop and look often, don't just barrel on. Keep looking to see if they're symmetrical. Take your time.
