Clarins makeover - what to buy?

Peppasavedmylife · 05/11/2014 20:28

Having a Clarins makeover this weekend and I will need to buy some stuff against cost of makeover. I have never used any of the products before...so what do you recommend? Obv there might be things I like on the day, but just in case I am stuck.
Thanks

Does it have to be just make-up? If not, I like cleanser (water something?) that is pale green, also the cream stick deodorant which is fab for after shaving.

I like their eye shadows and cream blushers. I also use a cleanser and the mattifying moisturiser. I also like this lip gloss.

I use their gentle exfoliating toner which is fab, takes all the dry crappy bits off yr skin.
I also use their bbcream and have their tinted moisturiser as well.

The beauty flash balm is fab. Great for making tired skin look more fresh.

Love beauty flash balm. They also do an orange gel/oil cleanser which I love. Sorry I can't remember the name of itBlush

Multi active day cream is v good, as is the hand& nail cream, the beauty flash balm, and the eye cream.
I also like their cleanser (mountain herbs?)

Love their hand cream and foot cream. Their shower gels are excellent too. And their on-step cleansing water.

Thanks very much. Think I can buy anything, seems the skin stuff is much better rated than the makeup.

The Hydra Quench Serum is brilliant if you have dehydrated skin. Have seen some good reviews of their new concealer and if you look on Sali Hughes website, she has several videos using Clarins products.

Their instant concealer is amazing for dark eye circles.

The 2 in 1 cleanser and toners are great and the peach one for normal/dry skin smells good enough to eat!

The stretch mark oil smells beautiful and works quite well. Tonic treatment oil I think it's called.

I would second the exfoliating toner, it's brilliant and really brightens the skin.
Their double serum has fantastic reviews as well.

Lotus oil. The most gorgeous, luxurious night oil ever. It smells divine & my skin always looks better the next day.

Where to start?!

Cleansers are all lovely, I alternate between the one-step gentle exfoliating cleanser with orange extract, the one-step gentle cleanser with shea butter, and the daily energising cleanser gel with moringa (supposed to be for young skin and I'm too old old, so the John Lewis assistant tactfully tried to tell me, but I still love it). All these you can use with water in the shower. Also gorgeous is the water comfort cleanser with peach extract that you use with cotton wool.

Face creams are in age ranges and they all have a different whiff, the extra firming is my favourite (for 40s) but hydraquench range is also really nice and fresh-smelling.

Face creams are really expensive (£50 ish) so you'll get more for your money if you buy cleansers (£18 ish).

I like the foundations- I have the invisible skin and the extra comfort one in the pot. Both great, I have dry skin
