MDFormulations?

Does anyone rate them? I use the continuous renewal cream from time to time and really like it but use Aldi face wash and moisturiser. My skin feels like it needs a boost (40 this year, single mum to.a 4 year old and 2 year old twins and I look permanently knackered!!!). My skin is normal/sensitive/a bit combination - so if they're good what would you suggest or any alternative? Thanks

Well snap - I'm pretty much the same age and with the same children. Back in Australia, the cosmetic physician I saw "prescribed" me some MD Formulations products, and I'm still using them. Admittedly I had a bit of time when I was pregnant when I didn't, but the products I have don't aggravate my sensitive, dry skin and are meant to be good at "turning back the clock" gently. My products have some glycolic acid and Vit A, for sun damage repair.

I used to use the glycolic cleanser. Nice cleanser, with I think 12% glycolic acid! which is a good percentage. Good for clearing away the dead cells and brightening the skin.

I use the facial cleanser in the sensitive formula (it has glycolic but not sure how much), which can be used daily (I use it in the shower sometimes. I am quite lazy w my skin, though, so take my advice w a bit dose of salt).

I also used the Vit A Plus illuminating serum, but had to stop when pregnant and haven't gone back. I had just forgotten, but since I do have pigmentation from the sun and age this thread will get me back into doing it again. You put it on the affected areas a couple of times a week, before you go to bed. It's strong, so you can feel it and must use SPF15 and above, during the day. Not the issue here that it is in Australia.

No, I am in London now, and my twins are 3 w the eldest being 4.5. I have no idea how you do it as a single mother - I really need DH's emotional support as I, personally, find it tough (the girls are all quite "spirited". Maybe due to the lack of age gaps and me not being as strict as I should, I don't know). I hope you have lots of good support, in various forms. [fist bump to you]

I use the facial cleanser and the face and body scrub. The facial cleanser is good but the face and body scrub is the best stuff ever. The other thing I now use as I am past 40 and my skin has got a lot dryer and more sensitive is the cetaphil range, the cleanser is my everyday one and the moisturising lotion is fantastic.

Thanks again - have added all to my bag at Amazon and am just balking at ordering as it's so expensive!
Belinda - fist bump back! Twins plus an older one is bonkers whichever way you are living it, in a way, luckily, H was horrid when he lived here and didn't help so I don't miss the help since he left as I never had it! Just hope and pray I'm bringing them up ok. Yes I have some fab friends thankyou :)
