Try J Brand cigarette leg jeans.

I went to Trilogy today and they fit beautifully.
However...they are very expensive but last well and don't stretch or go baggy.

I had to go and have a large glass of wine afterwards to recover.

eBay?

I'm probably not quite as tall as you (5'9", 1.75 meters if I did the math correctly), but I wear a 33" inseam. Rather than spend £100+ on a pair of new jeans, I watch eBay very closely.

I'm currently in the US and Seven For All Mankind jeans are very trendy here. They're very expensive when new, but you can find them on eBay for as little as $20 + shipping. Plus, the factory inseam is 34", which is perfect for us taller ladies.

Many eBayers will provide all the measurements for clothing; if they don't, you can send them private messages asking for the inseam measurements.

Also, JCrew has lots of nice jeans and trousers in Tall lengths: www.jcrew.com/womens_category/denim.jsp

I love seven for all mankind jeans too.
Mine still look good after 2 years wear and 2 washes a week.

I can't recommend eBay enough for Seven For All Mankind (SFAM) jeans (at least in the US). You might have to troll for a few weeks before you find the jeans you want, but you can get a practically new pair for very little money if you watch closely.

I just got a pair of seven for all mankind jeans on ebay for £40, in shops for £220... I am SO pleased (and smug!)

[green] at 34" inside leg.

Just be careful with fake 7's on ebay - they were rife a while back.

I only buy SFAM with lots of pictures, and I'm wary of anything low-priced that claims to be new with tags. SFAM will have its name on all buttons and grommets, for example, and I always check my purchases closely. Though it's never happened to me, if someone sold me counterfeit jeans, I'd report them to eBay and get my PayPal account credited; eBay won't make you pay for a counterfeit product that claimed to be authentic.

Yes, but try getting things long enough.
I have just cut the price tag off them. Shock

MrsRD, I have the same problem - need 34/35" legs. (My cousin has 36" - we are both 5'8") And I hate ankle swingers!

My other problem is my thunder muscular thighs, especially in skinny jeans. Are the JBrand ones tight on the thighs?

Mrsrobertduvallsaysboo · 30/10/2012 19:30

They are not tight like skinnies...I can't get a lot of skinnies over my big feet Sad

Ooh, sounds like I might have to give them a try, tx!

DoN't look at the pricetag.
Think of the number of times you will wear them.

I am tall too and always have a problem with finding things long enough, especially jeans.

I used to buy SFAM but last year tried a pair of Paige jeans - they are fantastic, so much better than SFAM (just as expensive though). Its worth trying these if you are struggling. They are really comfy and mine have washed really well. I got the slim leg and they are great.

I am 34 inch inside leg too, and have been looking for a new pair of jeans for ages. Am size 12, 5 ft 10 tall (age late 40s therefore do not want low rise!) Have decided I will treat myself to some 'expensive' jeans, because I know I will get the wear out of them. I will be in London shopping from Thursday to Sat - where is the best place to go to get a good choice of jeans with 34 inch inside leg in a variety of styles, to try on?

Try Trilogy, in Duke of York Square off Sloane Square or maybe Selfridges.

Richteaarecrap...I tried Paige jeans on and thought they were lovely. They were quite high waisted and very flattering.

I love seven for mankind but find they wear out really quickly. Especially as they are so nice you wear them almost constantly.....

I have 7fam roxannes but I am 5'7" and they are just long enough for me to wear with flats. Not sure they would be long enough for someone much taller.

7 for All Mankind on Ebay. Look at the & website for the size chart; the sizing is very accurate. I bought 2 almost new pairs for £55 recently.
