Hi Nadine
I am perimenopausal and confess that I am not really a slave to a proper skincare routine, although I am generally regarded as looking quite young for my age. Partly it's a matter of budget and partly slackness on my part Blush. What are the fundamentals of good skincare for perimenopausal women and what products would you regard as essential rather than luxury?
Many thanks

Hello Nadine,

I'm 32 and in the last 6 months or so have really noticed the fine lines around my eyes. I have also noticed that my makeup is starting to cake into the creases.
I use a general moisturiser on my face everyday but not one specific to my eyes, would this help? Is there anything I can do/use to help my fine lines around my eyes?

Many thanks, Mampam.

When it comes to skincare what is the most important thing (s) we should all do, if like me you have really limited time? I have always been told that cleansing is the most important.

Hi Nadine,

I moisturise my skin everyday but is there anything else I can do to avoid aging skin?

Hi Nadine

Do you think there is a miracle product out there for circles under the eyes/eye bags? What do you recommend in order to minimise this ageing problem?

I have rosacea - luckily fairly mild but would appreciate guidance on a daily skincare routine which would not aggravate my skin, would calm it down when it flares up and would cover the redness - oh and also include a sun protection factor!! Hoping you can help.

I'm stuck in an eternal cycle of dry tight skin (which I wash only with water and the occasional gentle exfoliant) which gets extremely oily each month leading to awful blackheads and huge pores around my nose, chin and between my eyebrows.

Products for oily skin leave me dry and flaky. Products for dry skin are too oily and clog my pores. Help!

Hi Nadine -
organic skincare is such a buzz now; should I buy into it or will chemicals always be more effective?
by the way - really love some EL products, but oh! the packaging! any chance of a youth-over for the ugly brown bottle?

Hi Nadine

Another rosacea sufferer (but with wrinkles) - would love advice on products that will help aging skin but without aggravating the redness and irritations associated with rosacea. Thank you

I have sensitive skin which is very red and flushes easily with veins showing over nose - nice! I haven't found anything to reduce or cover these and know it will only get worse. Any tips or is it just tough luck?!

Hi nadine, I have awful deep lines in between my eyebrows, is there really anything that can help or is it Botox for me??

Hi Nadine

I am (yet!) another rosacea sufferer, and it can really flare up at times. I am an absolute slave to EL Double Wear - I always recommend it and never leave the house without it on!

What do you consider to be the single most important thing to help those with roscea? Can products help - not to just mask it like make-up - but to alleviate and even improve the symptoms? I currently take a daily antibiotic which does seem to keep it at bay, but if I ever forget to them them for a few days, the redness and spots come back with a vengeance.

Hi Nadine, I've tried hundreds of eye creams in the hopes that something will at least lighten the look of my dark circles, but nothing works-including, sadly, Idealist Cooling Illuminator which makes my eyes sting even when used only on the bone and as far from my eye balls as possible.

Is there anything out there that actually works?

Hi Nadine, I have an awful brown pigmentation mark across the bridge of my nose. It's sun damage I think as just below the part of sunglasses that runs over nose. Is there any magic potion that I can use to fade it or something that will stop it getting worse?

Oh and can you change the top of you serum bottles from latex to silicone, took bloody ages to figure out where I was coming into contact with latex! Was my nightly pump of night repair serum, face was holding up but fingers falling apart!

Many thanks
MadameC

Hello there,

Im 30 and my skin is still riddled with blackheads, I use dermalogica and have dermalogica facials every other month, but amount of black heads seems never ending. Products or treatment suggestions would be amazingly helpful, thanks

Hi.

At the grand age of 44 I still have very oily, congested skin. Regularly have spots. Not so many wrinkles as such, but definite slackening of facial skin (probably too much sun).

I don't wear make up often as i don't like the feel of it on my face.

Any tips?

Hi Nadine,

I'm lucky in that I've always had clear skin with few issues but, at 32, I'm noticing it is starting to go a bit slack.
Is there any way of tightening the skin so it looks fresher or is this the start of the slow decline into old age?

Thanks

Hello Nadine
I was lucky to have acne-free teenage years and nice complexion in my 20's with normal to oily skin.
At 31, I have started to get spots and pimples in my forehead, jawline and decolletage (!), and an ever-changing combination of oily-dehydrated-flaky T-zone.
I use face-wash and moisturizer roughly once every other day and barely any make-up.

Which is more important, products or routine?

Many thanks

Hello Nadine,
my question doesn't concern myself but my 10 year old daughter.
I have bought her a basic mid range brand gentle face wash to get her into a good routine, that's worked, but she has blackheads on her nose ... what type of product would be most beneficial to clear them and further prevent them ?

Many thanks.

I am late thirties and have noticed lines around my eyes, I have looked at the advanced repair products but got a bit confused as to which would be best for my eyes or is there a all rounder which I could use on face and eyes?

Thankyou

As scientific developments move forward, which one item in your range do you think makes the most difference when trying to hold back the signs of ageing and why?
