Sports bra fitting

I understand how to judge if an u/w bra is the right size but how does it work on sports bras?

I think mine may be too big in the cup but how do you tell given all the material?

If you are over a D cup you could get the Freya Active, which is underwired, best sports bra I have ever owned, evn beats my Shock Absorbers.

Really should have read your second line, sorry op, if there looks to be too mcuh material in the cup then it is almost certainly too big, most sports bras work on compression, so it should be squishing your boobs a little.

Thats the one I have Gobblers. Seems to do the job and also comes in nude which is handy under light coloured tops.

sports bras should tight but still covering everything - if you have breast tissue fourboobing over the edge or rolls under the armpit, you need a bigger size. Breasts should be compressed in the bra, if they have room to move and jiggle, you indeed need a smaller size.

I love at the bottom the pants also in the underwired range, ouch

thanks everyone

I have this shock abs one - boobs aren't exactly loose in it but not compressed either

The Freya just looks like a regular bra in sport fabric - does it really prevent bounce?

I've had this in a few sizes over the years and it has always been very good - I find I always need to go up a back size though, although on me the cup stays about the same, maybe down 1.

The top Statistically linked is very good, I have several. But personally I prefer this

EldonAve I love my Freya Active. It really does limit the bounce and I have ample norkage!

I have both the Shock Absorbers linked to above and thought I woud never like another sports bra as much but my Freya Active is better, I am a 30G and it fits exactly in that size and there is NO bounce whatsoever, it is an amazing feat of engineering.
