I am sometimes good but mainly really bad. Leave all my make up on bad quite a lot of the time. I have a clarisonic which I try to remember to use and I also use acid peel pads when I remember ( generally use them
In the morning). I need to make more of an effort at night.

What do you do?

Always take makeup off
I use fragrance free baby wipes for eye make up - my eyes only tolerate one brand
Then a creamy cleanser, usually lush 9-5 or dermalogica ultra calming followed by rose toner
If skin is bad then I use quinoderm cream and moisturiser, if it's ok I just leave it Grin
Mornings I just use a baby wipe. The less I mess with my skin, the better it is. Once a week at night I use acid peel or some form of exfoliant

Always, always, always take make-up off. The very idea of going to bed in make-up is bleurgh to me!

At 53 I have very good skin and I'm sure that part of it is because I have always looked after it. I am currently using an Avon hot cloth cleanser, followed by washing with the Bodyshop vitamin E facial cleansing bar, then Aldi serrum on and Boots Protect and Perfect night cream.

In the morning I wash my face with the Bodyshop facial bar again, apply the Aldi serum and then moisturise - currently an Olay one.

I am not loyal to any brand and shop around. I have just ordered this range of skincare products at a party last week.

Once or twice a week I also use the nSpa Vitamin E face mask

I take off make up usually with Soap & Glory hot cloth cleanser and put on might cream and eye cream. If dd (10 months and still not sleeping through!) wakes up and 8 have to go amd sort her out then I use a cleansinf wipe, usually a Boots no.7 one as I stock up with the £5 off vouchers.

Those of you who never remove make-up at night, aren't your pillowcases covered in make-up in the orning? Do you not brush your teeth at night either?

WipsGlitter · 05/07/2012 16:22

Nope. I only wear a teeny bit.

I take make up off after I get home, I'm not leaving that shit on all day and night I only wear it when I leave the house.

As for bedtime routine I take a dump wash my hands and put handcream on and go to bed.

My feet get more attention then my face on a daily basis (cream on during the day with socks and almond oil on at night without socks).

All my face gets is wiped with a damp sponge in the morning followed by some oil. It gets washed with soap when I get home from going out to get make up off and then more oil.
The odd OCM once or twice a week with a honey and sugar scrub day once a month or so.

Honestly I think people put too much crap on their faces etc it all soaks in and enters your bloodstream you have no idea what the hell all that stuffs doing long term, none of it's been tested for cumulative effects.

Right I need to pick up my game. Am going to keep a vitamin supplement and cod liver oil by my bed so that I remember to take them. Have just ordered a top up of eve lom cleanser so will try to get into the habit of doing that every night. The last lot is still going after two years so shows how often I take off my make up at night. Then I've managed to dig out the midnight secret I bought due to MN (and only used for a week) so will keep that by the bed too with some hand team and foot cream. Whilst I'm at it I might go the whole hog and try to remember my rapidlash and body lotion!

I am never going to keep this up though Grin

Yes, about 30 mins, mask on for 30mins inbetween.

I have no DC, as you can tell.

Yep I need to up my game too Virgil I have some lovely products just rarely used them Blush. I think the key for me might be to remove make up and wash my skin earlier than bedtime as by the time I go up to bed I'm so hanging I can't be bothered Blush

I don't think I've ever gone to sleep with my makeup on, it would be like not brushing my teeth!
I take eye makeup off with boots botanics waterproof eye makeup remover.
Cleanse face with Emma Hardie moringa balm
Sometimes use toner but not often, if I do I use Decleor mattifying one.
Liquid gold radiance on pigmentation marks
Decleor Neroli face oil
Eye cream - currently Emma Hardie but have a few I like.
Night cream - using Alpha H rejuvenating cream at the moment which is one of my fabourites. I have quite a stash of lotions & potions (12 unopened moisturisers??!) so am working my way through them!
Nail oil then Handcream (Superdrug own brand) then bed.
I LOVE my beauty products tis my one bad habit :)
