What colour nail varnish to go with blue dress?

Going out for a fancy meal tomorrow and will be wearing a royal blue sort of colour dress with gold accessories and shoes. I'm stuck on what colour to do my nails, or do I just leave them plain?

Coral would be nice with navy.

Coral sounds good.

I've also done hot pink (Jessica 'Colour me Cala Lily') with navy/royal blue and it's fab.

I'm thinking fushia/hot pink type colour but depends on how busy the outfit and accessories are. It may just be better to leave them as a neutral colour or bare?

Sorry, not very helpful!

Chanel peridot it's a gold/petrol blue depending on the light. My favourite colour right now.

Definitely coral or orange imo...

Thanks for the replies. Dress looks a bit like this but nicer. Simple strappy gold heels and a thin gold belt. Maybe a bracelet if I can find one.

My colouring is quite pale with brown hair and blue eyes. Not sure if coral would look right with it? I might just go with a French manicure...

I was going to suggest a French manicure or a pearly beige.

I think pearly beige would be much nicer than corral, but then I don't like coral on me or anyone else, though I know it's in this season. It can be very harsh and, if you are going to wear it, Ithink you need strong coloring, not pale.

i agree with others to not go for coral...it can be a damaging colour ...and doesnt sit well with some ppl... especially with a blue dress...my opinion but deffo not ..
