Have some really lovely stuff in at the moment. I bought this to wear with waxed black jeans.

Also loved this

And I know its expensive but they have very good sales and its cut well and lovely quality.

Yes I like their stuff

unfortunately my branch is always deserted and SILENT so I feel compelled to make conversation with girl or she with me

Will check sale though

Yes, the Bath one suffers from lack of a mirror in the fitting room and overly helpful staff but you know I persevere in the name of style Wink

I can vouch for the complete, awesome marvellousness of their sales. And I am wearing a dress I bought there in a sale two years ago at this v. moment. It's lovely: really easy to wear and is kind of stylish without being overtly so. Well, I think so anyway! Point is, it's withstanding the passing of the years very well.

MrsCampbellBlack (and Cyb and PerryCombover) I feel it is our duty to tell mn about C and C - it really is good.

Is the sale still on?

Dont know the word for sale on French website

Report
animula · 28/08/2011 19:57

Must admit, don't know that, Cyb. I went into the Wombles branch about three weeks ago and there were a few children's things on a rail, but that was all.

The best for sales in London is, imo, the branch in Sout Moulton Street.

You might look French, but it is a Japanese company Wink.
Love Comptoir des Cottoniers, Theory, and Uniqlo (all owned by the same umbrella company).

I love their stuff. They are in between sandro and day birger in my local store.

Dd has quite a bit from the girls range. Lovely

Snap animula - I am wearing a dress I bought in their sale at least years ago.

It is quite pricey but the three few things I have bought there have lasted really well and got me lots of compliments.

SALE is "les soldes" in French but I'm pretty sure it's over, they tend to be fairly short-lived, and now everyone will be gearing up for new season so not much chance of a discount.

MrsCampbellBlack · 28/08/2011 20:15

They do have a mid-season sale though

After loving the website, I finally got round to going into the Brighton one this week and was sooo disappointed - it was tiny and there was almost nothing in there.

Gorgeous shop. I have a dress from 3 years ago that still brings out the compliments whenever I wear it. Am a bit of a sucker for French brands - also APC and Paul & Joe (have a whole wardrobe of these from pre-DD days when I was size 10 - sigh).

Love the look of lots of their things. Is it possible to buy online does anyone know?

There's a shop on Upper Street in Islington (can't remember name, sorry! May be Browns?) that had loads of C and C in the sale and it's still on. They also do loads of See by Chloe. Will try and find name....

I've bought a dress (in the sale!) from their website, they charged me £15 (from memory) for the P&P but was still a bargain. Google translate came in very useful!
